Surprisingly good

So I have to say I had rock bottom expectations buying this. But corona has been good to me and I’ve lost 30 kg in the last year. As such basically nothing fits me. Therefore in desperation I turned to amazon to help me out. The coat is lightweight. Folds super small in the provided bag. Has a nice matte finish. Sizing is good. I’m 175cm and 71kg - the small is just a shade too big. Otherwise really happy.

Zip on wrong side

Zip is on the wrong side, well to my mind anyway here in the UK, fastener should be on the left side. But is on the right side. So it is weird. Wondered if I had been sent a womans version of the coat instead. But then read that there are no zip standards, especially in the USA. Coat was made in Vietnam so don't know. Coat seems alright, fits fine which is always a gamble with clothes mail order.

Think if I had been in a shop trying it on, the zip would have be even more of an issue and I wouldn't have bought the coat. But being delivered and having to sort out a return it just didn't seem worth it, so kept the coat. Just beware the zip fastener. Plan on using it to just pack in the backpack anyway ... so will be occasional use.

Should it be minus two stars just for a zip? Yeah because it is weird, you go to fasten it then the zip on the opposite side. Takes a few moments to register.

It is everything it claims to be in the description and despite being lightweight it is pleasingly warm [snug as a bug actually].

The stitching is excellent and I found no loose threads. It has two external zipped pockets and two large inside lower front quite deep pouch pockets. The zip, in keeping with the 'lightweight' theme is quite narrow but works well and zips right up to the top of the collar.

Size-wise I would say it is 'true to size' bearing in mind what you may be wearing under the jacket in cooler times.

Truly surprised by how warm this jacket is. It’s feather light and my first thought was that it is pretty thin so my expectations were pretty low. How wrong was I? I work outdoors in N Scotland and already in Oct temperatures are only 4 or 5C. I’ve been wearing it under my overalls instead of a fleece and wow it’s warm. It isn’t an Arctic level puffa jacket but I think that’s fairly obvious but it’s way warmer than a fleece, not at all bulky and fabulous value for money. I definitely recommend it

This is actually surprisingly good quality. My size is normally a medium, but went for a small after reading some of the reviews. Although, it fits, it is on the small side. So, my advice is to just go for your normal size. I was planning to wear this myself, but as my son also needed a jacket for school, I gave it to him instead. As it didn't cost very much, it wouldn't matter to me if he damages it. I'd just buy another one.

This jacket fitted me well, so light you would forget you even had it on, not sure about how waterproof it is although it has no taped seams, the jacket is very breathable, the zip feels strong so yea ver happy.

I do not write reviews often, but I was after a bikepacking down jacket. This came up in the Amazon search, so I thought lets give it a go. Superb quality item, packs small and its light weight, packed into a compression sack it goes half the size than in the supplied sack.
It keeps you very warm, just do not keep it compressed when not in use this will maintain the loft of the jacket.

I am 5'7" (170cm) tall, 35 inch chest, 29 inch waist. I was undecided between S or XS but opted for XS as sometimes when I buy small clothes they are a tad too big. I made the right choice as it fits absolutely perfectly with a normal jumper, although if I wear a very thick winter one it's a bit tight. The zip is not the usual way round for the UK but it's hardly a major inconvenience, just takes a little getting used to. The jacket has 2 internal pockets sewn behind the external ones. I would have absolutely no hesitation in buying again.

I am very pleased with this product. Yes, as previous reviews have mentioned, the zip is fitted on the right, not the left. This isn’t a problem for me, a tiny technicality. The cost is very lightweight, keeps me very warm. I haven’t used it in heavy rain, so I can’t comment if it keeps you dry. The pockets are very spacious. Two on the outside and two deep pockets in the inside. Which is nice and handy. I most definitely recommend you buy this coat at a very descent price too.
