Quality product at very fair price

These jeans are described as Levis, but carefully inspection reveals they are NOT Levis!

** APPOLOGIES TO AMAZON [and Levis] for suggesting the product delivered was fake! *** Having checked with LEVIS UK Customer services, today, it appears that these jeans ARE GENUINE, though there is apparently a manufacturing fault re SIZING and LABELLING. One of my suspicious issues was that the external labels, and rear leather patch, states 32 X 32 although the INTERNAL cloth label (with the washing symbols labels) states 33 X 32 !!
Also the 'suspicious' (additional) "Levis Premium" Label - and Red LEVIS tab, with a CAPITAL "E" - are the NEW Levis "Premium" range details.
So product is GENUINE and appears of good quality, just incorrect SIZING, TRUE size is NOT known - so I have ordered another 32X32 Pair! New pair are EXCELLENT. Quality SIZE and fit are perfect! Outcome is VERY satisfactory, thank you.

Seem fake to me. Colour has faded drastically. Worn severely on the knee just through stress in that area of fabric. Amazon should have processes in place for checking this kind of thing. I have 2 pairs of the same Jean on the same colourway, purchased from Debenhams. No fades or wear marks like these. 100% certain these are fake. If they aren't fake they are definitely rejected fabric from the Mills. Shocking considering these cost just under £70!!!!

After only 2 weeks of wear the stitching unraveled at the bottom of one of the legs. Unfortunately it was 6 days after the return date cut off. So much for Levi's premium quality clothing!

Updated, after a bit more research I now know these are fake. However I bought a pair about 8 months ago from this same page and they are genuine. Check the label on the back it should be printed in red and the little Levi's tag on the back pocket should be Levi's not LEVI'S

A few weeks ago I got these jeans from Amazon in size 32 x 30 which is my usual size in Levis jeans. I could barely get them on they were really tight in the waist and hips so returned them. When the price of the size 33 x 30 went down to a level I could afford I decided to try the larger size. Guess what, they turned out to be too big! I then ordered the 32 x 30 again not expecting great things and they fit perfectly. Not sure what is going on with Levis quality control but I eventually got there and they fit and look good. As other reviewers have said the material does tend to pick up any loose bits and pieces which show against the black coloured jeans. For reference I am normally 34 inch waist in trousers but 32 waist in Levis jeans.

Levi's jeans are the best type of jeans I've ever had, I've been wearing Levi's for around 20 years now and cannot fault them, I am a 31 inch waist and these jeans followed by a short leg fit perfect, I find it hard to find jeans 31w 29l. I don't like wearing belts so these are a must for me due to these fittings,
The quality aswel is like no other from the material down to the stitching is amazing would highly recommend

I was looking for a smart pair of jeans with a tapered leg for a slimmer look now that I have lost a little weight. These Levi 511 jeans have an elasticity in the fabric while still looking like normal denim which helps with the fit. They have a zip and button closure (as they say!) as I can't be bottered with the traditional all button type. The price I paid was significantly less than those I've seen in the shops.

I am very pleased with my purchase and would happily recommend them!

Are these real Levi’s?

I bought a pair of 511 from Amazon a year or so ago. They fitted well and had a small amount of stretch from the 1% of elastane. I bought these expecting them to be the same. They are not. They are cut differently with a wider baggy seat and wide thighs. The material is also softer and very stretchy, more like Lycra material. The two horse patch is a different colour. They were shipped in from Germany so it maybe a market difference. Whatever the reason they are nothing like my first pair. They are a bad fit and look very strange. I have returned them.

While billed as 511 Slim Fit Jeans I was disappointed upon arrival and trying them on to find out that these are without doubt Stretch Fit Jeans, not Slim Fit. If like myself you regularly buy 511 Slim Fit jeans and wear them every day because you don't like Stretch or Skinny jeans, you'll immediately know the difference as soon as you put them on, from the tightness, to the stretchy denim and the way they attract dust and fluff instantly, unlike proper 511s Slims. Whether it's a mistake in the Amazon listing or Levi have completely changed how they make these jeans (although I doubt that), please be aware before purchasing and having to organise a return and refund like myself. They're not that much cheaper on here anyway so I would advise going to a Levi's store and trying before buying.

I purchased these because they were priced at £27. Rock cod is not the usual colour I would buy but they would have been used for working around the home. On receipt, I was amazed to see the colour was nothing like that shown on the sales paged. The jeans felt as though they had been washed and washed with no strength to them at all. They looked baggy and had a awful smell to them. I have several pairs of 511's and they never start out like this from decent suppliers. I did not attempt to try them on.
I can only say they must be fake or someone has returned them in exchange for a new pair. I will never order jeans from Amazon again. I should have realised from the previous reviews.

They have been returned and Amazon have issued a prompt refund but I don't think they fully investigate the reason for return. It's just as if there was a slight fault, they should put better procedures in place to check quality and vet returned items if they plan on sending them out to other customers.

These were extremely comfortable as soon as I put them on and felt good quality. I also really appreciate they do sizing every inch, rather than every 2. I'm always between sizes so that's amazing.

For me, though, these jeans didn't feel too 'slim'. I personally found the style a little bit baggy - especially around the ankles. It's not really a criticism or anything, just was unexpected and is not a fit that suits me personally.

Also, I ordered a 30 leg length, and got a 32. The package it was in said '30' but the jeans said '32' - and they were definitely 32. It wasn't a huge issue as I'm returning them anyway, but just to be aware as I would have been disappointed if they were a perfect fit except for the leg!

I've now gone for the 510s as they should be slimmer.
