New built in memory foam insole!

Rocket Dog Jazzins have been my favourite trainer for a while, and this is my third pair. I can’t usually wear other brands of pump as the toes are never wide enough and I get blisters, but Jazzins have a wider toe box and are a really great fit for me. The only thing I could criticise in the past was the lack of cushioning in the sole, but this has been easy to remedy with a pair of memory foam insoles. (Insoles have also fixed the fact that jazzins run slightly large in my experience, meaning that my correct size plus an insole gives a perfect fit).

Imagine my delight when this new pair of leopard print Jazzins arrived, and I find they have given them a BUILT IN MEMORY FOAM INSOLE!!! So now they are super comfy and a perfect fit right out of the box. The print is beautiful too. Love them!

These shoes are really comfortable and lightweight. However, after wearing them for less than 3 months (purchased May - writing this in August) they have started to come away at the sides where the rubber meets the material - see picture.

I think mine are just cut too short on the outer material and not stuck down properly. I am contacting Amazon for an exchange.

Great shoes if they only lasted longer

I love Rocket Dog Jazzin shoes and have bought them a few times from Amazon. I have small but wide feet (think Hobbit child) and have never been able to wear Converse despite having tried a fair few times...an expensive mistake to make.
The first pair I bought a while back however seemed to be much better quality than the ones I have bought more recently. I do wear them every day as they are so comfortable, the original ones I bought seemed to be a better build, longer lasting thicker soles and the white rubber was a smoother finish.
I know these are nice and cheap at £19.99 but they don't last, I've had to bin my previous pair after just a couple of months of daily wear as the soles went soft very quickly and developed holes.
I would love to know why they have changed, and for them to revert back to the original form as they were far superior. saying that I will continue to buy them as I can't find anything else to fit the bill...or my feet.
I would give 5 stars without hesitation if they only lasted longer.

Good shoes ruined by the poor sole.

I was attracted to these shoes because of the wider toe box they offer. They fit true to size. Size 7 was fine for my 26cm foot. The toes felt great in all that additional space the shoes provide though the height of the toe box could be higher. There is a cushy insole inside which is a very welcome addition to the shoe. Now about the bad. The soles in these shoes were awful. I read about it in others' reviews but thought to still give them a chance. No. Just too uncomfortable. There is a Rocket Dog logo on the sole. The letters are large and made of hard plastic. They are protruding slightly from the sole. I suppose the maker wanted the shoes to leave very visible imprints of their brand wherever you go. This desire for free advertisement has just ruined an otherwise great shoe. The hard plastic letters can be felt through the insole. They poke into your foot and eventually make it very uncomfortable to walk. I had to regretfully return them. Such a shame. The price, the fun look, the width of toe box... They were almost perfect. I'd buy at least 5 in different colours if not for that annoying sole! Oh well... Life can't be so easy. I couldn't wear them and had to return.

Poorer quality than expected

I liked the colour of these shoes but they were not as good quality as I expected. Loose cotton on the stitching. Fraying edges around the top of the shoe which may have been intentional. I may have considered accepting the quality at the price if the fit had been better.
I bought a size 4. The width fitted OK but they were too long.
The insole was thick memory type foam which raised the foot up in the shoe and it made it feel that the heel back was not high enough. All in all not at all comfortable.

Nice design - shame about the detail

I love the design of these sneakers but find them disappointing on a couple of counts. The top edge is finished with just a single line of stitching, whereas my current sneakers (different brand) are finished with a taped edging which looks much neater, giving them a smart 'finished' look. The other downside (for me, anyway) is that although there is a super-comfy padded insole, the depth of this means that the depth of the heel of the sneaker itself is compromised, and is slightly too shallow and doesn't hug the heel properly when you walk.

I bought these shoes to wear at weekends really with jeans, and although they look very cute they do not last very long at all, I probably wore them 12-15 times all in all, and the bottom of the souls have worn out, I wouldn't bother again, I bought vans which I should have bought originally!
