Cheap cardigan

I ordered the Hisir Men's Knit Cardigans Jumpers Lightweight Classic Soft Wool V Neck Cardigan with Buttons, Long Sleeve Knitwear Pullover Sweaters for Men, Mens Gift.

I had really high hopes for this cardigan as it looked good in the photos. However when I received it I was very disappointed. It is a very cheap and thinly made item. It looks cheap and I won't be wearing it out side of the house. The described states that it is a wool cardigan, but is only made form 10% wool which is very disappointing.

At the time of reviewing this product was priced at £23.99. This is so expensive for the poor quality.

I would not recommend this product.

It's a bit cheeky describing this cardigan as Wool, when it is actually 60% acrylic man made fibre, 25% polyester, and only 10% wool. I don't know what the remaining 5% consists of. However, the cardigan is nice and soft, buttons from top to bottom, and looks great, especially when worn with a t-shirt. Quality is good, and there were no loose fibres, or dodgy stitching evident. The garment can either be hand washed in warm water, or in a machine on a delicates program (20-30C). I wouldn't recommend tumble drying because of that wool content, just in case you experience shrinking. It is better to spin as dry as possible, pull back to shape, and hang to dry, which it does reasonably quickly. There was no evidence of shedding, or pilling after wearing, and washing.
Price wise it is at the top end of what I think it is worth, and would have liked to have seen it sold for around £15-£20. You get a choice of 5 colours, and 5 different sizes. I normally take XL, and this cardigan in XL is spot on for sizing.
I like everything about it, apart from the price tag, although there is currently a 10% off voucher that can be added at the time of purchase. If it was £15-£20 I would have awarded this cardigan 5 stars, but as it is not I will default to 4 stars instead.

Hisir Men's Knit Cardigans

With spring approaching I was pleased to find this cardigan was quite thin. I doubt this will keep you warm in a cold wind, but it will be ideal for indoor use, or those days where it's too cool to go outside with just a shirt. Personally I prefer a thinner cardigan over warm jumpers, this is the ideal thickness for me.

The size I received was 2XL which is my usual size, I was a little concerned if this would fit. Recently I've found most Chinese made clothing that I've received has tended to come out on the small size. I'm pleased to say this fits me well, the material has a good deal of stretch in it so it is quite forgiving.

The cardigan is secured down the front by a row of buttons, one or two were a little tight to push through the button holes but I'm sure they will loosen up with use. The arms on this are quite long and tight fitting, but there is so much stretch this should fit the largest of arms. I do often have a problem with some clothing being too small for my arms despite being the correct size bodily, I had no such problem with this cardigan fitting.

Overall I like this cardigan as it's so thin and lightweight that I can carry it around with me if the weather is looking changeable. The quality is reasonable, I would have liked to have seen a couple of pockets included, but that's my only criticism.

A pleasant smart and well made cardigan available in five colours: Black Karki Navy Blue White and a Dark Grey. Quite a thin knitwear but a close and dense weave so it is surprisingly quite warm. Being a mixed fabric (Acrylic, Polyester and Wool) it can be machine washed. So it's easy to look after and should also be quite hard wearing too.

When ordering I would suggest choosing your normal size. I normally wear a medium size regular fit sweater and this medium size cardigan fits me perfectly. The styling is a little old fashioned for my taste but perfect for wearing about the house or in the garden. I like that it has such a thin weave meaning on very cold days you can wear it snug underneath another top or coat without any difficulty. I think the current retail price is a little high (retailing close to £25) but it is a good quality cardigan, quite smart and well made too. It do recommend this cardigan with a 4 star review. If it were a little cheaper and perhaps a more modern style it could easily have been 5 stars. In any case, if you order one I don't think you will be disappointed.

The Hisir knitted cardigan is of very fine knit quality. Made in China, the garment has a very deep V front with a knitted rib edging to the sleeves and body of the garment. The garment is made from 10% wool, 65% acrylic and 25% polyester, meaning the garment will stretch a little. Washing instructions suggest the garment should be hand-washed or placed in a laundry bag for machine washing, dried flat and pressed with a cool iron. Alternatively it can be dry cleaned.
I am 6ft 2ins, medium build and selected the medium size. While the cardigan fits nicely in the body, the sleeves are about an inch or so too short for my personal liking. However, the shorter sleeves can show off a watch and an assortment of bracelets, so it is not all bad news. The sleeves will stretch length-wise so it may be possible to lengthen them a little when the garment is wet after washing.
The cardigan looks great when worn as formalwear, with tie, shirt and trousers, and equally good when worn as casualwear, with jeans. Overall, pleased with this garment.

I specifically ordered a larger size because I wanted an over large cardigan and when this one arrived it was ideal. I do prefer men's cardigans as they tend to be longer in the body and the arm length.

This cardigan is a lovely soft blend and doesn't irritate the skin. It is a lightweight cardi, and this makes it ideal for wearing in the cooler evenings or popping on to add an extra layer in the colder months.

The fit is really nice and it comes past my belt line and easily covers the small of my back. This does have buttons, not all cardigans do! This one does and they line up with the buttonholes giving a good fit and not pulling it out of shape.

This is a good staple item for any wardrobe, a basic black buttoned cardi, casual and smart, simple and a really good fit. It is one I would definitely recommend.
