I bought a 32" waist (UK) expecting speedos that covered a moderate amount of my legs, but they remind me of flamboyant hot pants that are too small for wear, be that practical or fashionable. Too tiny, doesn't fit properly and seems like a size 32" is basically aimed at the body of a 6-9 year old boy, not 26 year old man.

This is part 1 of my review before going swimming. First off I've never worn a speedo before and I'm 17. I'm normally a size 32 for other things but I got the 34 after reading other reviews. The speedo is quite nice to wear, it obviously reveals some things but I feel quite comfortable in them as they are not too tight, because of this you can only see a lump where my gentleman's region is, it doesn't reveal much more than that.

Part 2: bit late, but in terms of swimming it makes it so much easier than board shorts and they are very comfortable, would recommend.

Bought these not because I felt all Daniel Craig but as I was accosted by the French Pool Police for wearing inappropriate shorts in a swimming pool. Apparently only spandex will do in France as otherwise they fear you'd wear shorts all day and deposit the muck in the pool. Does the job without making you feel like you're back in 1986 ;)

These are good swimming briefs, although I did find them to be a little on the small side. They stretched well and are comfortable enough for short periods of time, but I'm not sure I'd want to spend more than a few hours in them. Mind the price, however, as they seem to have been increased a fair amount recently.

Great for wearing under a wetsuit

I bought these trunks specifically to wear under a wetsuit and for that they are perfect. Personally I wouldn’t wear this type of trunk for normal swimming but I needed something smaller and tighter for the wetsuit and these fit the bill perfectly. The size guide was good and they are well made. Excellent product for what I wanted.

Wobbly bits will wobble

I use Speddo “Jammer “most of the time and find them great.Decided on a change,bad decision. Very little support,wobbly bits very prominent,especially before they get wet.Surprised really because I usually find Speedo the best. Maybe just a bad batch. I’ve gone back to my SpeedoJammers.

Don't be fooled by the legs, these are budgie smugglers, if you are comfortable with that look on the beach you will get a better tan than board shorts but defiantly leaves nothing to the imagination. Tried but couldn't bring myself to show my face around the pool in front of other guests.

Where we holiday in France they insist (yes really - not just the sign that everyone ignores) that us guys cannot wear swimming shorts. The sight of me in a pair of budgie-smuggler Speedos is not something I want to inflict on the world so I bought these. They are way better and while I'd still wear a pair of board shorts around the pool, actually swimming in these I don't feel so much of an idiot.

They are actually comfortable and dry very quickly.
