60% cotton. Doesn't feel like any cotton. Inside sheds badly. I will try washing them inside out and update as to whether that helps.

Update. This was after the 3rd wash and I washed them inside out 1 time. No Improvement. See pic 2.

Thin and scratchy but do stay up

People really weren't kidding when they said the fabric is thin on these and the padding is essentially worthless. However there are cool summer socks (because they are so thin). Even after washing with Downy they aren't soft at all. They are actually somewhat scratchy and I expect they will be threadbare before long. I probably will not order again. They do however stay up without sliding down in my shoes, which was my main goal in purchasing these.

Middle band too tight-uncomfortable

Idk why socks are always too small regardless of the brand now. I use to buy 8-10 size socks and they fit great. These are so tight around the middle band that my toes were being squished together. Super uncomfortable. But they don't have a larger size. I'm a 8 1/2 or nine in shoes. These should not have been so tight. My daughter is one size smaller than me so I'll just give them to her...

SO much lint, nonstop lint

I wanted to like these socks - affordable yet sufficiently cushioned, seemed like they wouldn't stretch out too quickly, perfect height for my needs - however, months into daily use, they stick leave SO much lint on the bottom of my feet and in between my toes. I thought this would decrease with use, but nope. Highly annoying. Cannot recommend these.

These were too tight and left marks on ankle even after I cut them. Very uncomfortable. I got some at ALDI that are tight, but don't dig bc they have a smoother seam.

Socks looked and felt nice when arrived. After washing, small little pills appeared which felt like little pieces of rice or plastic. Some of the softness and stretchiness went away. They don't have much support. For the price they are okay. So far they have held up. But would prefer a softer pair of socks without the pilling. I bought the Adidas for running and these for just around the house. The Adidas socks were more expensive but felt and held up much better.

Like the look and sizing -- women's socks most often are too small. These socks are thin and
have no support that I usually see in athletic socks. The main problem is that the thinness causes
them to rub against the shoe, so not really useful for walking, running.
