Just great work shoes!

I've seen some negative reviews for these shoes...I can only report my experience.

For about 10 years I've bought M&S shoes - they look good but boy do you have to wear them in - shoe stretchers, heel-bandages etc.

I've never bought a pair of work shoes online before but these are utterly brilliant! - Smart, comfortable from the 1st wearing and they really haven't scuffed at all despite 4 x days a week commuting to London and on the tube. They don't slip in the wet...I could go on but I've found them to be just the p-e-r-f-e-c-t work shoe.

Poor durability

These shoes are so comfy and look very smart, but Clarks seem to be suffering from wear issues on the outer heels, this is the second pair I have had now that have worn through in 3-4 months on the outer heel, the rest of the shoe are still like new. if you don't wear daily you will probably be ok.

These shoes are smart, the leather is high quality and lasts well if polished, and they're super comfy to wear all day. Yes, that comfort means that the sole isn't the most durable, but that's a sacrifice I'll happily make as I can wear these all day every day, and they still last a year.

I have worn Clarks shoes for years now and generally find them to be durable, comfortable and attractive looking. I usually visit the Clarks shop when it's time to buy a new pair but with the Covid lockdown, this was not possible. I am very impressed with my Amazon Clarks purchase. The shoes are very comfortable and needed virtually no wearing in. I have been for two long walks wearing the shoes and there were no issues at all. The shoes were promptly delivered by Amazon and fitted me perfectly. Highly recommended.

I've been using clarks shoes for the last 8 years and never disappointed, usually I buy them locally at the store but probably due to the pandemic the prices are going up a bit, so this time decided to buy them off amazon and not disappointed at all.

I haven't worn shoes for many years, usually I wear boots or trainers, but I felt like a change. I've only had them about 3 weeks, but they fit and feel comfortable with no blisters on the feet. The leather is soft, so it's not too hard work to break them in.

A fantastic shoes and exactly what you expect from Clarks. Made of a high quality material, and look very smart. Bought them for my 14 years old son for school and as always with clarks shoes, extremely durable and comfortable. They seem to survive even the harshest of weather and muddy roads.

Long and narrow, not for me

The toe area of this shoe is very narrow and cramped. They look like a dress shoe more associated with weddings and funerals and not ones I would wear as an every day shoe.
The leather seems a bit low quality compared to the Clarks shoes of days gone by.
Now all the shoe shops are shut for the foreseeable future it is difficult to judge style and fit from online photos and reviews.

Hubby needed a smart pair of shoes & these fit the bill. The toe shape is particularly nice. He hasn't worn them for large amounts of time yet so can't comment on comfort for endless amounts of time, but experience leads me to expect Clarks shoes to be, at worst, reasonably comfortable! I bought his normal shoe size of 8.5 & the fit is perfect. A very nice looking shoe.
