Genuine Lacoste.

I have seen alot of Lacoste polos on Amazon, and alot of people saying they're fakes. Now they're still expensive which may put people off buying. So my findings on this particular shirt are these: it seems to be a 1212 classic fit polo, pretty much exactly as my Lacoste bought 1212s. With only one exception that i have found, i take an XL, which is the size 6 in Lacoste/French sizing. They all fit the same. This Amazon one still has the 'classicfit', but appears to fit like a size 7, though it has a size 6 label. So are these maybe some sort of factory seconds? Anyway the quality is impeccable, that which you would expect of Lacoste. I would buy again but if it dropped a size smaller i would have to return. Very thin cotton not worth £60 paid. The polo shirt feels like a polo shirt bought at £5, the polo shirt must be a fake how can a branded polo at £60 price tag be such thin cotton? big disappointment branded shirts should mean quality not just cheap thin cotton polo with a crocodile stitched on the chest.

I have no idea how Amazon gets away with selling fake goods on the internet. This thing fell apart after one wash and lost all its shape. I've been wearing Lacoste original for years & this is the first time I bought from elsewhere to a Lacoste shirt. I can honestly say that this is FAKE. I will lodge a complaint with the office of fair trading.

Returned as I wasn’t convinced it was genuine. Was missing lecoste cardboard label and plastic bag with the logo on top. Sure you normally would bin these but they do help you figure out if it’s counterfeit or not.

Shirt itself passed a lot of the fake tests, but I don’t know. If it was real quality wasn’t anywhere near a couple of Lyle and Scott polos I got recently for half the price. I have a polo I paid about £15 for and this Lecoste polo had very similar fabric in my opinion. Real or not I wasn’t happy with it.

Honestly, having read some of the reviews. I had some apprehension about purchasing. But, having spent some time working for the Lacoste brand protection team (although not my current occupation) and access to authorized third party dealers information. I was confident that, this was genuine product and if some sort of slight of hand did occur. I would be able to spot counterfeit product.

As expected, this is genuine product with the correct numeric information that match an authorized dealer (obviously, I am not going to tell you it's specific location).

As a point of full disclosure, the item I received was an older version (not an issue given that, even in Lacoste stand alone retail locations, this occurs). So if you purchase from and fulfilled by Amazon you are going to get the great fit/length that is the same as a stand alone Lacoste retail location.

I was initially sceptical if this was an original Lacoste shirt but having read through the reviews I was convinced it was original. Having now received the shirt I am 100% sure it is the real thing. Great quality and a fantastic fit. Will definitely buy another one soon.

I was dubious at first; considering the price, retailer and feedback. However am happy with the product and arrived fairly quickly (3 days).

Buying genuine products online is hard enough, without the inaccurate feedback from previous buyers that dont appear to be able to recognise the genuinitiy of the product they are purchasing.

My advice on this particular listing is to ignore those reviews and grab yourself a seasonal polo at a great price!

perfect.....superb fit and quality ,im a big lump and the fact you can get size 10 is perfect ,9 is a lot shorter in my experience the 10 is a genuine 28-29 armpit to armpit and a decent length

i wont shop anywhere else now ,i spent ages trying shops and picking up the odd size 10 item here and there now i have a choice of colours at a load undr retail price ....and compared to my dozens of original lacoste items rest assured these are genuine
