A bit too fragile...

I love the colour, but wish it was a bit darker to hide the Apple logo. The fit is perfect, and very skinny, but it appears that comes at a cost: it seems a bit fragile. On first installation, the top panel cracked trying to snap over the laptop lid before settling in. Rather annoying, and probably doesn't bode well for any strike protection. Not sure how to contact seller on this issue.

Update: The seller very kindly offered me a full refund or replacement for this issue once this issue was communicated to them. I appreciate the great service offered with this product. I have increased my star rating from average to good.

Do not buy, does not fit.

Bought this for my 2020 Macbook Pro A2159.
The item does not fit the product.
After clicking in both the top and bottom pieces of protective plastic they still fall off very VERY easily.
Vent spots on the bottom casing made realise that this also wasn't made for the newer models
Disappointed as I received this for Christmas and it's a bad product. Save your money and don't buy

I got a new macbook air this year (2021) and having had one before, I know how prone they are to picking up dirt or scratches- especially when your workspace is 'under construction' as mine currently is.

This case comes in 2 parts, each one individually wrapped on arrival. It's super easy to clip on- it fits like a glove.

It's completely transparent with no pattern or frosting, so if you like the colour of your laptop- you can continue to enjoy the colour. It also means if you want to decorate it, you can decorate the case freely without risking ruining the actual laptop if you later changed your mind/wanted to sell.

There are a few sections on the sides of the laptop still exposed, and therefore at risk of damage, but this is for necessities such as cable holes and opening the laptop.

Underneath it has rubber 'feet' to protect the case and stops the laptop from slipping around on any surface. There are also lots of what I can only assume are cooling slots to stop the laptop overheating.

For £13.99 at time of writing I think this is excellent value for money to protect what is an expensive piece of tech, and I wouldn't hesitate to but this again if I needed to.
