Purchased in July.
Granted i do use them every day for walking, 7 days a week. Most days it is 4-6 km, and weekends 8-10km.
I do NOT use them for anything else i.e.running, social etc
So use is 1-1.5 hrs a day MAX
So 4 months in
Hole in the inside where the heel rubs on right foot - and this hole is only going to get bigger
Another one starting in same place on left foot
Hole in the upper by the toes (Right foot again) - this is a small hole but it now means they are even less waterproof than before

Positives, they are comfortable. They do have a good sole and make walking a pleasure. BUT i didn't expect them to last 6 months and then have to go in the bin!

I have had these trainers since the 8th june just over two months. I do not use them for running just for walks. Look at the toes of both shoes, they are breaking into a hole. This design for me does not work. Not worthwhile returning as they would probably not give me a refund. So be aware if you are thinking of buying this style.

I am a fan of Asics shoes I find they fit my feet well and these are no exception. I have run about 10 times in the so far and done some HIIT work and they are standing up well: no rubbing, nice support and comfortable.

Really great shoe. In the pictures the toe width looks wider than in person. So when I opened the box I got worried. But I shouldnt have. They are perfectly roomy even for someone with wide toe witdh like me. And as usual Asics sizing is perfect.

So if you are a 10UK like me. Order a 10UK. Even with heavy socks on its fine.

Too soon to say how long lasting they are but my last or Asics took enormous abuse, running, hiking etc. And are still going.

The shoes looked fabulous and exactly as you’d expect from images supplied and arrived prior to notice but sadly the drop down menu for ordering online was in U.K. sizes only and what arrived was only listed in US and EU measurements. Neither correlated to what is ordered and as a result the shoe was a whole size too big. The company was great at returning and refunding. Very disappointed overall considering conversion charts are so easily available.

These feel really comfortable for short runs and everyday use. However they feel harder than previous models and I am having pains in my ankles and toes following longer runs. If you are looking to run over 10 miles I would pay extra and get the nimbus or an alternative.

They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and I've already had a few months of satisfactory wear. Too early to comment on durability, but they appear well made and certainly haven't shown any signs of undue wear over a couple of hundred miles of walking this summer.

I have Contend 5 & love them so I assumed Contend 6 would be an improvement on the 5. They are similar...difficult to tell if the 6 is an improvement in any specific area. I did notice that the footspread seemed greater on the 6. (Good for those who complain that their trainers are tight up front). Also the heel cup around the achilles area is lower on the 6....not sure if that helps or hinders. Asics are pretty good all round.
