Top critical review
Lightweight but Firm, Poor shock absorption
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 3 December 2020
Decided to get back into running but didn't want to spend too much on new running trainers. Came across these Under Armour trainers, had a lot of positive reviews so I decided to get these.
Upon wearing found them to be a little tight but chalked that up to not breaking them in.
Went for my first run, just a light jog to get a feel of the trainers and noticed the soles to be on the firm side, very little flex either. I could feel everything on the the road with every step. They just felt hard, again, chalked this up to possibly not breaking them in properly and kept them anyway. (Big mistake)
Well it's been quite a few months and I can unequivocally say I DO NOT RECOMMEND these trainers. My knees and ankles ache after every run. Still very little flex and poor shock absorption, they do nothing to dissapte the energy from the ground to your feet, so it just travels up to your joints.
I honestly don't get understand these positive reviews.
It's possible I got a dud pair or worse, fake!
These may be fine for general exercise but for running, definitely not. I will definitely make sure to go in store and try running trainers on in the future.
