Made of rubber. Not leather.

The texture is more like rubber than leather. I know it's not supposed to be real leather, but it definitely feels way more rubbery than advertised. It would make a great gift for PVC fetishists. Bear in mind it's way lighter in colour than the pictures show, it's more a pale grey than a black.

Not a fan of the fake pockets, but other than that it's decent. Everyone is saying it's best to get a size up, but I found the measurements to be true to size. I got an oversized one so I could wear layers under it. The single inner pocket is the most useful thing.

No weird fishy smell here. I don't think it's worth the £49 asked for it (the inner lining feels cheap), but I like the shape (and yeah I like the rubbery feel) so I'll be keeping it.

Having looked at the reviews, as you do, I decided to go with an XL which is my usual size. The jacket that came looked just like the one shown on Amazonand and was of excellent quality. UnfortunateIy it was a little tight so I generated a return and ordered an XXL which has just arrived.
Well, I'm not sure if the picker has gone to the wrong row, shelf or whatever because, even though this jacket has a 'Fedtosing' label attached to it like the one I returned, and zips in the same places, but I was so disappointed that this one is a very poor quality thin and shiny GREY (not black) pvc/latex type material.
How can that be? I really want the quality of the one I had initially but do I have to keep returning and re-ordering until I get the right one?
If anyone has the answer, I'd be grateful!

Was not to sure about the jacket when i first tried it on but wore it for a while and it fits way better than my first thought. It looks good and is warm looks very casual and the jacket feels very real leather as some of the feedback I had read said it felt like rubber and had fake pockets. Which is wrong as al the pockets are real I like it there are a couple of fake but they are just for show as they are high on the jacket so would not be much use for much.
Honestly it's a great jacket for the price if you want a real leather jacket go get a real leather jacket and pay the price but if your just looking for a jacket for everyday for a budget price get this

Really depends what purpose you want a leather jacket for. This is a good great looking 'dress' jacket with soft flexible leather. However, I wouldn't buy this as a motorcycle jacket as not possible to reinforce with padding and the leather is not thick enough to protect the rider who is in a slide. But, good value for money spent.
