I have two feet. A left foot and a right foot. These shoes came with the exact number of shoes I needed for each foot. One per foot. Blew my mind. If you have two feet then look no further. However, they came as one left and one right shoe. If you have two left feet or two right feet then they may not be for you. You can check online or with a foot specialist to see what kind of feet you have. I've seen quite a few feet so I just guessed that I have one of each and it worked out this time. Recommend you check with a specialist before buying just in case.

Last Vans I Ever Buy.

This is the second pair of Vans I have bought - and will be the last.
I bought these pair last year, but only started wearing them over the past few months.
They have never gotten wet or been mistreated in any way; yet the colour is fading and therefore making them look shoddy and cheap.
I've had other brands in the past... had a pair of Globes for almost 6 years with no loss of colour at all.

Comfortable, but I will not be purchasing this brand again due to their fading issue.

This is my first time purchasing Van's as normally I stick to Brands like Adidas and Nike and I must say I'm impressed with the style of these shoes.

If you're anything like me, you won't like shoes that are too colourful or covered in random and silly designs. Luckily this shoe is the complete opposite of that and is very smart and casual.

In terms of comfort, they are not extremely comfortable as the padding at the bottom is a little thin but other than that the shoes have a lot of room at the sides for those with narrow feet and the top is a relatively thick material that won't poke a hole at the top for those with toes that point up a little.

The one downside for me personally, is the fact that there is no heel. So for me being 5'9 it does nothing to increase my height up to what would normally be 5'10 with a normal pair of trainers.

Other than that, I would highly recommend these shoes for size and style!

Incredibly uncomfortable but stylish

I bought these Vans because I needed a pair of shoes for the summer that would look fairly stylish but also be nice and easy-going. I've received quite a few compliments concerning the shoes from friends, most of them asking how they feel because they'd also consider buying them.
However these shoes are incredibly uncomfortable - to the point where for a while I would dread having to put them on in the morning. Firstly the canvas (and in particular the parts on the top where the ridge overlaps) is really rigid. In the end I had to buy a special spray (normally meant for leather shoes) to make the canvas more supple. Secondly, the soles of these shoes are of a much lower quality and harder than other equivalent skate shoes. I previously bought some Etnies Marana Vulc shoes for skating and their soles are much nicer to walk on for long periods of time. Thirdly, these Vans have so little breathability. Your feet will get hot and sweaty inside and taking them off indoors will be almost impossible due to the smell that will then emanate from within.
Overall super disappointed...can't wait to shred them on the skateboard.

Some time ago I bought a pair of Vans as an afterthought, when buying another pair of shoes. Very la Troy because they were sold at 50% off, and only cost me £30. Very simply styled, in brown suede, they became a favourite pair that I wore a lot, eventually falling to bits after years of Sterling service, fairly recently.

I've been unable to track down an exact match by Vans (or anyone else, for that matter). And I've wound up recently buying two pairs of Vans, both of which I really like, but neither of which are quite the 'magic pair' my late lamented brown suede ones were. I've never bought shoes over the internet before. But these fit fine, and I'm very happy with them.

I can't believe this is the only shoe to not stay right after wash and dryer. It's my fault I'm sure but I'm surprised they don't test every shoe in the industry to be sure their shoes are up for being machine washed. Its common sense really. I really love my vans, but I figured a shoe built for extreme sports lime skate boarding and offroad bmx riding would be the last shoe to warp, come undone, and shred the shoe support I to what feels like crumpled cardboard. Besides that great shoe. Maybe my machine operates at a higher temperature than most. I would just cold wash in the washer, then air dry.

Great looking shoes but awful build quality on toe area

The shoes are comfortable, fit will and look good for the first month...

I bought these as a gift and unfortunately the toe area started to wear though after the first month. Two months in and holes have now formed in the toe area on both the shoes. For the cost of these shoes this area should be reinforced.

I've owned many pairs of vans myself over the years and this has always been an issue after 4-5 months wear, but 2 months is a joke. Awful value.

Contacted Vans support via email and they were very helpful in their reply. They encouraged a replacement through the retailer (amazon). I contacted amazon and they have been really helpful today and organised a replacement in return for the defective pair so very happy with the support and response provided by both Vans and amazon.

I purchased these partly to take my order over £20 and thus saving me £4.99 on postage that I was being charged for another item. I happened to come across these on offer for £25 saving £20 on list plus saving the £4.99 on postage I was being charged for the other item. I just happened to need some new trainers and I have owned Vans before so this was a no brainer. I effectively got them for £20. They were delivered very promptly as is usually the case with most Amazon items. They were available in loads of colours (as usuaI I chose boring all black) and half sizes which is vital for me as I am a half size. They have excellent reviews on YouTube and are seemingly very well made and look durable as is normally the case with Vans. I have worn them for a few weeks and have had absolutely no issues at all with them (normally I always wear down one side of the sole very quickly or the heel support collapses almost immediately on some other makes of trainers I have owned but no such problems here). They are a medium width which is good for me but the sole seems slightly thinner than is normally the case with other Vans I have owned so you can feel stones etc to some extent but not so much as to be annoying and they are very grippy. They do not have the thick padding that suede Vans usually have particularly around the heel but they are light and comfortable. All in all I am delighted with the purchase.

Second hand worn trainers sold as new

Ordered a pair in sizes 13 and 14. The 14s arrived in perfect new condition, but these 13s have clearly been previously worn. They arrived with no paper inside (as you would find with the new ones), no labels, with the laces tied and with marks underneath showing they have been worn outdoors. They haven't just been tried on for 5 mins - the lining on the inside has peeled away on the heel of both shoes. See pictures attached.

Update: Upon recieving the replacement 13s, this time brand new, I wore them for 3 hrs one afternoon. When I got home, the heels were peeling on the inside just like the 2nd hand pair I'd received!

Turns out the person before me probably hadn't worn theirs very long before returning them, which I will be doing too with this pair.
