At last a comfy shoe just what I have wanted.

I have awkward sizing feet, I am like a 5.5 but cos I have wide feet I some times have to get a 6.5 and or a 7.
I find it very difficult to buy shoes and to be comfy in them too especially my little toe.
I hate feeling my feet cramped up and I can't move my toes and being restricted.
I was told about bare foot shoes and another make which are really expensive a bit out of my budget and also as I am not sure if I would like them or they would be comfortable I didn't want to waste money so came across these ones.
I have done a lot of reading and a lot of watching YouTube videos and research on barefoot walking so thought why not.
Well I got mine yesterday and had them on round the house haha felt like I had ducks feet and today have been out for just over a two mile walk, well what can I say?
I noticed a difference in my walking straightaway my knee wanted to twist and my foot wanted to but I think it's cos of how I walk with normal shoes on I tend to wear one side of the heal down.
So I made myself very conscious of how I was walking then tried to walk heal toes like normal and the difference was unreal.
I will probably ache tomorrow as using muscles I haven't used before.
I am very impressed with them I did wear a sock with them and kept the insole in but I may take the insole out once I have gotten use to them.
You do also take smaller strides and it is ball of foot then toe down so hardly any pressure on your heal so then there is no impact on your knees either.
I will keep wearing them and then eventually get a barefoot winter boot or shoe.
If you want to go back to natural walking then I would recommend to buy these for your first barefoot shoe just in case you don't like it so you are not wasting an awful amount of money.

Not suitable for long walks!

Very disappointing! there's absolutely no support for the arch of my feet as well as very thin cushioning, it's basically a very wide rubber socks! I walked my dogs and did around 10,000 steps, by the end of the walk my feet hurt so much. Wouldn't recommend it.

Good for general use, but not a patch on real minimalist designs.

Bought whilst looking for a good pair of minimalist shoes to run in, but these don't fit the bill at all. Although they are the correct size, the fit is far too sloppy for proper exercise - especially the large toe box and I have wide feet. Had to bite the bullet and go two to three times the price back to my ever-reliable Vibram FiveFingers.

They are however very comfortable for general wear, so I actually wear them a lot day-to-day. Would definitely recommend for use as "slobbing" trainers, especially at this price. I'll probably get some more when these wear out.

More like beach shoes

The shoes are wide and generally comfortable but the fabric feels more like a beach/water shoe than a sports shoe. The overall length comes up quite short - definitely need to add an extra 0.5cm+ to your foot length to get a comfortable fit. The drawstring laces felt a bit flimsy and offered no option to lace differently to keep heel tied down etc. Not bad for the price but if you’re used to vivo / altra / Xero etc don’t bother with these.

Die Schuhe sind dem Preis entsprechend gut verarbeitet. Schöne breite Zehenbox, flexible Sohle und herausnehmbare Einlegesohle qualifizieren die Schuhe als Barfußschuhe.
Die Schuhe sind in der Breite großzügig geschnitten.
Was allerdings sehr stört ist die Form der Ferse. Ich konnte den Schuh im Bereich der Ferse gar nicht ausfüllen, weshalb der Schuh an dieser Stelle permanent eingefallen ist. (Sieht man im Bild links, rechts als Vergleich der Traillaufschuh von Saguaro)
Wegen der Passform gingen die Schuhe leider retour.

Barfußschuh mit Einschränkungen

Das erste Paar Schuhe, dass geliefert wurde, war deutlich zu groß, so dass ich es zurückschicken musste. Erstaunlicherweise war das zweite Paar, dass ich bestellt habe gleich 6,- teurer. Ob das eine reguläre Preiserhöhung war oder ob man sich hier die Versandkosten zurückgeholt hat sei mal dahingestellt. Der Cookie lässt grüßen.

Nun zu den Schuhen. Ich habe keine Erfahrung mit Barfußschuhen und kann sie daher nicht mit Produkten der einschlägig bekannten (und erheblich teureren) Marken vergleichen. Aber ich bin passionierter Barfußgänger und kann daher sagen, dass das Versprechen eines vergleichbaren Gefühls nicht eingehalten wird. Dazu ist die Sohle, auch wenn sie recht dünn ist, einfach noch zu dick, selbst wenn man die Einlegesohle entfernt. Wer wissen möchte, wie sich dieser Schuh anfühlt, kann, so er hat, einfach ein Paar Badeschuhe anziehen und damit testweise auf der Straße rumlaufen. Es ist natürlich kein Zufall, dass der Hersteller dieser Schuhe auch ein breites Sortiment von Badeschuhen anbietet. Oder man kauft sich bei einem der Diskounter im Frühsommer ein Paar Badeschuhe für 5-7 Euronen.

Trotzdem kann man die Schuhe gut benutzen um im Freizeitbereich damit herumzulaufen (für den beruflichen Bereich sehen sie dann doch etwas zu sportlich aus). Der Fuß hat viel Platz, besonders auch im Zehenbereich. Daraus und aus dem meshartigen Obermaterial ergibt sich auch, dass man in den Schuhen keinen sehr festen Halt hat. Aber dafür sind Barfußschuhe eigentlich auch nicht unbedingt gedacht. Auf jeden Fall halte ich die Verwendungsbeispiele des Herstellers (nach denen sind die Schuhe praktisch für jede Aktivität geeignet) eher für abenteuerlich. Die Verarbeitung ist durchaus zufriedenstellend. Wie es mit der Haltbarkeit aussieht, wird sich erst noch zeigen müssen. Ich vermute jedoch, dass die dünne Sohle nicht so lange durchhält, wie die eines normalen Straßenschuhs.

Fazit: Wer einen super bequemen Freizeitschuh sucht, kann hier ohne Bedenken zuschlagen.

Das ist mittlerweile mein 6. Paar, welches ich gekauft habe. Von diesem bin ich enttäuscht, denn die sonst gute Qualität lässt zu wünschen übrig. Der Zipper ist nur noch billiger Plastik der "rummlabbert". Die Nähte sind auch krum und schief. Im Vergleich meine fast 2 Jahre alten fast tagtäglich getragenen "Erstlinge". Guter Zipper mit Federdruck und weitestgehend geraden Nähten.
