Beautiful 100% cotton sweatshirt!

This a really a nice piece! 100% cotton is actually hard to find in a sweatshirt any more. This one from GoodThreads is a 3/4 zip hoodie with a large kangaroo pocket. It's great for layering because it is not that heavy fleecy kind of sweatshirt, it has a terry loop on the inside, so you can layer and not worry about overheating. It's black, but a soft almost faded black. I machine washed this inside out in cold water and laid it flat to dry. There was minimal shrinkage and no color fading or pilling. This fits my husband well, I went with the large to allow for shrinkage and layering. It's cut generously, but it is not too big that it is sloppy. This is the kind of piece that you can lounge in with sweatpants, or you can wear it out on the town layered with a collared shirt, nice jeans and shoes. Overall, for the fabric, the fit and the quality, I am very pleased with this Goodthreads Men's Heritage Wash Lightweight French Terry Anorak. I think it would be a great Christmas present too, who wouldn't love a new comfy sweatshirt this holiday?

Fits well and stitched properly-Unique center pocket with top opening-Jersey knit material

This is a great sweatshirt choice for someone who loves the comfort of a cotton t-shirt and the warmth of a hoodie. It is made of thick cotton and is a jersey knit. It is medium weight and will provide warmth in the fall and winter. The shirt has a slightly aged look which is trendy and modern. The front pocket opens from the top and has two velcro tabs.
The front pocket is a good choice for traveling or times when you want to keep papers or information in an easy-to-access area. Although it is not conventional for keeping hands warm, it is very convenient for easy access to important papers or other belongings. It is great if you want to take a minimalistic approach. It is stitched properly and without defects. I sized up for an increase in arm length and this did not cause an issue in overall fit for a 6'2 175-pound man.

Lightweight, slim fitting, hoodie

This Goodthreads Men's Heritage Wash Lightweight French Terry Anorak is a lightweight, slim fitting, hoodie.

It is made of a 100% cotton, French terrycloth, knit, fabric. The care label says to machine wash in cold water with like colors and tumble dry on low heat.

This is a pullover style hoodie with a 1/4 zip closure at front neck. The hood is lined with cotton jersey knit and it has a drawstring to snug the hood around your face. There are wide, ribbed knit, bands at the cuffs and the bottom hem. There is a wide pocket at the bottom front with a flap and velcro closure. There is decorative seaming at the front and back chest.

This is a somewhat slim fitting hoodie. I was pleased with that because my son is thin however, he is very tall and the sleeves are too short for him. He doesn't mind too much as he always wears the sleeves pushed up. Maybe if we sized up the sleeves would be long enough? The pocket is strange as it is very wide and generously sized but the flap closure only has velcro in two places. I'm not sure that things would be very secure in there but it's fine for a cell phone probably. We love the fabric but the cut and fit aren't the best for my tall, thin, son.

Weird Pocket

The sweatshirt is nice, not super heavy, comfortable and a relaxed fit. Arm holes are a bit loose, maybe a bit too much, but the arms aren't super long so it works ok for me.

The pocket is super weird though, instead of the pass through for hands, it has this pocket that has a flap on the top with two white cheap looking pieces of velcro holding it shut. Strange -- not sure what I would put in there that would work out.
