I made a conscious purchase after reading the reviews. I thought tin and cork should be long lasting enough, I didn’t mind them being light weight but I was disappointed with the dull colours. The pictures the seller uploaded give the impression of vibrant colours. My camera automatically enhanced the colours so they are even less colourful then they appear in the pictures and video I uploaded.

Very lightweight

I liked the colours of these coasters but I too thought they were a bit pricey. They are very lightweight and constantly stick to the bottom of my cup or glass sometimes unknowingly,as one ended up in a bowl of hot water with the dishes which ruined it. Would have preferred them to have a bit of weight to them.

These seem a very sturdy coaster .. there is cork backed so shouldn’t scratch the surface they are used on .. they have a little lip around the edge so good for keeping glasses and cups on them .. they are laminated cardboard I believe so not sure how long they will last if liquid is spilt on them .. but they are going okay after a couple of months .. where I use them for cups of drinks with ice in the cup and I get a lot of condensation on the surface of the coaster .. they are going well so far .. thr pictures and designs on the coaster are colourful and interesting .. Good buy!

On delivery of the sheesham (rosewood) nest of tables I immediately realised that I needed coasters. The classical Middle Eastern designs went well with the Indian tables and UARHOME chindi rug (purchased from Amazon).

I love the vibrant colours. Large enough for pint glasses or large mugs. My only gripe is that they are a bit light weight and can easily lift from the table and then fall to the floor if slightly wet.

I was really pleased! Some of the reviews say they are too lightweight- I’m not after much from my coasters- I just want them to protect my table, and not look horrible! The pattern is bright, crisp and sharp, the cork backing works well, I can’t see what else you’d need from them! They come in a lovely box so would also be good as a present. Yes they are light weight, but that makes them easier to stack when you aren’t using them. Wipe cleanable too!

I bought this product as I was drawn to the design. When they arrived I discovered that they weren't as solid as I had thought they would be as made from cork covered in a tin shell. Not very wide so not suitable for all cups and glasses as they have a slightly raised lip on the top of the coaster making balancing difficult sometimes. I liked the choice of colours and designs available but think they are very pricey for the set.

They are beautuful and do their job well. My cup is usually wet and there are no stains on the coaster yet. They can stick to the bottom of the cup, but other coasters do that as well.
Update after 8 months: usual coasters are damaged from the water after this time, but not these! They are good as new, and they always delight with their colour and pattern.
