One of my hesitancies about ordering clothes and shoes online is that you really don't know what to expect until you get it and try it on... well, I needed some new brown dress shoes and went for these. The Amazon brand is usually pretty good - depending on who they are buying the product from to slap their label on, but these? They could do better.

The Bad:
-First, the leather is very thin - no cushioning anywhere but the insole.
- The leather folds in on itself when you tie the shoes up so you get weird waves/buckling here and there.
- Whoever laced the shoes needs help. One shoe was right but the other had the laces ending at opposite ends (hole near the toe and the other hole at the top by the tongue) instead of both ending up at the the top.
- The whole shoe, from sole to the upper to even the laces feels very cheap and plasticky.
- The overall style is terrible. The pointy-ness of the toe is almost comical and with the color of brown these turned out to be, they looked like something a grandma from the early 1900s would wear. Like, my wife is seriously considering using these as shoes for a witch costume for halloween...

The Good:
- There are some redeeming qualities about the shoes - for one, I wear a 9.5/10 depending on brand and these 10s fit just right.
- Despite the plasticky feel, they are fairly comfortable for a dress shoe. I was expecting the thin "leather" to dig into my ankle with there being zero padding around the opening where your foot goes, or anywhere else for that matter, but these actually felt just fine when I was wearing them.

Over all, they're an okay shoe if you can pull off the "I'm wearing my dead Aunt Gretchen's shoes" look. The price is decent and If you're into pointy shoes, then they're an okay option. I don't know about longevity, but if you're just wearing them to church, say Christmas and Easter?..(or Halloween?) then they should suit your needs.

These dress shoes run quite narrow and small. Quality is barely passable. Size up!

These Amazon Brand - find. Men's Leather Brogues do not seem to run true to size, and it appears that this is a general trend with the "find." brand. The size men's 9 is more like a narrow 8 on my teenage son, and he can barely squeeze his feet into them. He does not have wide feet and has a very slim build, so it appears to me that these shoes are like the other "find." shoes - they don't seem to run on American sizes very much, unless you have quite narrow feet with more petite bones...and even then, you're probably going to have to size up.

This is really a shame, as they look really nice on the outside, even if the leather on them are thin and they are more flimsy feeling than most other dress shoes in this genre. They're so thin that they bend and fold in places permanently, sometimes in uncomfortable ways that you can't get to "bend back". I like the "rot" (burgandy) color on them, and while they have the long, pointed toe that some people aren't fond of, they look pretty sharp and stylish at first blush, and would make a nice dress shoe for more formal events, provided you don't wear them very long (my son says they're not comfortable at all).

The quality leaves a little to be desired, however, and they really feel like a cheap dress shoe you'd pick up in a discounted big box store for much less. While price can be subjective, I can say with certainty that you can get better quality (in American sizes!) elsewhere, especially considering the current pricing they're listing on here for them. They look nice, but aren't too comfortable, and the quality is barely "meh."

For an Amazon branded item, these are flat-out disappointing in so many ways that I nearly gave them less stars. That said, if you've got very narrow feet and size up...and only wear these for limited amounts of time...maybe they'll be useful for someone. Their only saving grace here is the stylish appeal, IMO. Bummer!

Nice looking wingtip shoes, at a good value

These Amazon private label brand shoes look very good. The color is more of a brownish burgundy. I'm a size 9, to 10 depending on the shoe. In Ferragamo's I'm a size 9D and these in a 9 felt tight. The front of the shoe starts to taper and gets narrow, so if you have wide feet, these might not work for you.

I took pictures from several angles to see what I mean.

Overall, I think it's a great shoe, at a good value, with a rubber sole, but I think overtime, it will show it's wear. They are stylish, but not my style.

Nevertheless, I am impressed with the quality and materials used and think Amazon did a pretty remarkable job with these and you'll be happy with them at the price point they are offered at. Around $50 or so.

Width issue, good quality leather

Small on the width for me, but the leather feels good with steady and strong stitching. Laces feel brittle, may need to swap out ASAP. 3.5 stars.

I like the color of these shoes. The toe box looks narrow and pointed, so I am not as thrilled with the style.
