Very happy with this coat

I am 5’7 (around 240 lbs) and the bottom of the coat sits right at my knees (which I prefer when it’s cold out). I don’t think I will need to layer under this coat either because it was 4 celcius today and I was sweating when I came home from my walk. Order a size up though so it’s not too snug. The sleeves are a little too long but I can cuff them so I’m not bothered by it. It’s got a good strong zipper and the pockets are in the perfect spot ( one of the other reviews mentioned this too and they were right). Very comfortable coat. Update January 2021. This is by FAR the most comfortable, light weight, day to day coat I have ever had. The pockets are lined with warm soft fabric and I really love it. Once I have lost some weight I plan on re ordering this same coat because it’s so nicely made and comfortable. Just wanted to update this after a few months of daily wear because I’m so happy with this coat.

This coat is NOT the shorter length shown in the photo. It is knee length which is far too long to wear in the car especially without a 2 way zipper at the bottom. It does feel warm but the hood is too large, it covers your eyes when worn. Overall not a good fit so it is going back.
This order was just another waste of my time from inaccurate photos and a lack of sizing information. RETURN RETURN RETURN.
Fed up with online ordering.

No sizing chart for plus sizes

I took a chance ordering a 2XL as there is no sizing chart for the plus sizes. This is my usual size but this coat was too tight. It’s a nice well-constructed coat so I may give it to a friend as a gift. Please do better and post the sizing chart for plus sizes so others are properly guided when ordering. Nice warm coat tho.

I bought 3 different puffer jackets to compare - the Calvin Klein, Amazon Basics and the Nanette puffer jacket. I'm keeping the Nanette.

This jacket is bulkier than the others and not really packable, but it's warm, fits well and has pockets placed in a comfortable position. It seems to be the best made of the three I tried by far. This is more like a winter coat than the other two. I always size up in jackets and I went 2 up on this jacket because of reviews to a 3X and it fits big - but I like that because I can sit in it. This jacket does not have a two way zipper to release the bottom a little. I don't see when I will ever need to layer much with this jacket - it's warm but I can if I need to. Agree with other reviews - please put a sizing chart that sized up to what you are selling. I am 5'7" and the jacket seems longer in the picture - works for me but thought it good to mention. The hood on this thing is ridiculously large, unless you have a pumpkin for a head - honestly, could fit my snowboard helmet under it.

Amazon jacket was too thin for my needs but I liked the style. It would be great in CA where I live, but I am headed for the East Coast. The zipper was two way, but very difficult to get to work and seemed like it would fail soon. this would be a great CA jacket. The XXL was snug but fit with no room for extra, unfortunately couldn't size up with this one. The hood does not come off.

Calvin Klein was real down and so cozy, however it looked like a garbage bag (shine) and the zipper was too silvery for my taste. Second warmest. Would have considered this jacket if the looks were better because it seems more versatile and while puffy, less bulky feeling. I could move comfortably in it. This one in 2X seemed similar to the Nanette in 3X. One way zipper on this as well.

I am 5'8" and long-waisted. This coat is longer than pictured and is almost to my knees. I am a solid 1x in clothing so I ordered a 1x and this coat fit me quite snugly. I don't feel there is room for layering. I have long arms and the sleeve length is generous- reaching far beyond my wrist. I wore it out in -15° weather today and was very comfortable, so it stands up to sub zero temps.
