Comfortable and good value .

Got my first bike in over 20 years at the end of lockdown and within 2 short bike rides my gooch had taken a hammering of biblical proportions.
Ordered these padded UnderCrackers and was impressed with the quality for the money spent . There’s a good amount of padding there to keep your “t’aint” comfortable over the bumps and now I’m doing 30km rides and no longer walking like a cowboy that’s s*** himself.
They’ve been through the wash a few times now and still as good as brand new .
* note you wear the with the padding inside , otherwise you look like a Baboon with his a*** hanging out.

Padding does not keep in place

These were good for a few first rides, but after only a couple of washes (maybe 10 in total) padding has disconnected from the rest of the cloth, and with every other wash it's getting worse. It's like a big lump that you need to adjust every single time, and since it was supposed to be sewed inside, you can't really set it up ever to be as good as new.

So, I'll probably end up trashing these after maybe 2 months of use.

They were really good when new, but...

Firstly, it seems to be a gamble when ordering clothing as some items don't have a sizing guide. From the previous reviews (which had been good) someone had offered a bit of a guide which proved to be very useful. As a guy with a 34-36' waist, I opted for the Large size and thankfully, they have turned out to be a perfect fit. The first ride with them was a little uncomfortable but I have put this down to 'moulding' around me. Since that first ride, I have enjoyed very comfortable rides which has made a big difference. Padding is in the right areas for my needs (buttocks and groin) and I am already looking to purchase again. :)

I have used padded cycling shorts before and most times spent a fortune to feel like i had either had an accident from my bottom or someone had sown a couch into shorts with ristriced movement and little comfort. Gave these a go as relatively cheap and was pleasantly surprised as they aren't restrictive offering a good level of padding and after a short while forgot I was wearing them. Did 12 miles of MTB of XC and downhill and didn't have a sore bum or chafing. For longer rides some might not find they are padded enough but for me spot on. Fit is true to size, I am a 33 waist and Medium fit well

Ideal for the casual or infrequent MTB rider who can wear them underneath a regular pair of shorts.

They are snug, comfortable and not too tight. the Padding is generous and combined with some 'bum salve', make an excellent combination for a long day in the saddle. No issues with quality, the stitching is strong, symmetrical and robust. I used them to replace a pair of padded Spandex shorts and it was a good decision, much more practical and comfortable.

I am sure that the £50+ versions from other brands are more suited to riders who spend many hours a week in the saddle, but for the causal weekend rider who will do the occasional 2-4 hour ride, these are ideal.

Got a bike to learn to ride with my daughter. After 10 Minutes I needed something to save my perineum (and hers). Looked at reviews to make sure they were up to the job, they are. Been out for an hour this afternoon and I don't feel like my body is gonna fall out of my bum.

To be honest, I bought a Gel Seat as well to make sure the comfort is right. Saved me and now I can get on and learn to ride.

These arrived very quickly and we're appropriately packaged.
They fit perfectly on me (S on my 31" waist)
I used these for horse riding, where as I'm getting older - I'm getting seat bone soreness.
After some hard riding, there was absolutely no soreness!
I've ordered another couple of pairs.
They seem to of decent materials, and well sewn.

Genuinely good for the price. I cycled seriously for years and spent a lot of money on kit. Having used big brand shorts and trying these, they will make a very very big difference to your comfort. These vs nothing is a huge difference. Obviously of you go with bibs you'll be more comfortable and bigger brands such as cast**lli and Ra**ha Will give you a better experience, but whether or not their worth the extra £50/60/70 is dependent on how much you have to spend. The difference will be negligible if you're on a budget. These are slightly bulky in the pad area, but comfort wise, offer good padding and support. Not overly noticeable while riding your butt will thank you if you were previously riding with just underwear on. Worth what you pay for them

Really good for the money very comfortable indeed and you can’t feel your wearing them, the only disappointment was the length in the leg if they had been longer would have given full stars. They kept riding up the legs which was a bit frustrating. As for padding it was very good indeed and would defo recommend for the money. Have not tried them yet on a 3 hour ride but on a 1 hour ride they kept me really comfortable, if they had not crumbled up my legs they would have been perfect. Sizing was not bad I am normally an extra large, I got a large and size was spot on so go for a size down for perfect fit.
