Walks like a tactical boot, feels like a running shoe

These boots are great. I was shocked at how lightweight and breathable they are. They’re about half the weight of my standard 5.11 tactical boots. The upper has some give but locks your foot in tight when tied. The best part is the sole. It grips absolutely everything. Even walking up stairs only on the arches of my feet, I never lost grip to the floor. They walk like heavy tactical boots but feel light mid weight running shoes. Highly recommended. Plus they look really cool

If you are looking for a combat boot/sneaker/everyday lightweight hot weather shoe get these boots. I bought these boots after trying many top name type Desert combat boots for work/play in hotter Summer months, and these right out of the box are the best for my feet and needs, I am a Diabetic and need a good fit with a cushiony sole which most top brand boots dont have IMO which results in callouses and trips to the Podiatrist for cleaning them up, the Viktos boot has a larger toe box than most and doesnt have the pinch points when sqauting down, with an ultra cushion foot bed(no need for Gel inserts). I would assume a little break in period but no more than a regular sneaker, the materials and build are top qaulity IMO and really look great! with a darker Coyote color than in the sales picture which seems to be a lighter Sand color, these would be great for around town kickers for everyday use, they arent a strickly Military style more a Hybrid sneaker boot that can take the same punishment as the military styles. I would recommend if your an in between size person to order 2 sets to make sure you get the perfect size for your feet because the toe box is a little bigger they might feel slightly bigger, i got my regular shoe size 11US Iwould have liked to try the 10.5US to see if they would've been better fit, since they have a FREE return shipping, might be a good idea.

I wear these almost every day of the week and seem to last me about a year, so they absolutely are worth their cost. The most recent pair after being beaten daily for 12+hrs over the year started talking. They stood up to heat, cold, wet, mud, sand, concrete and more.

The way the boot is designed is exactly what wide feet call for. It allows the foot to expand while carrying loads and are the only pair of boot I've ever bought that didn't cause a blister somewhere. They do have a small break in period, which for me was about 6 hours.

The only thing I didn't like were the round laces. They are too short and don't stay tied(even double knotted& tucked). I would recommend getting some Iron Laces and also in a longer length than what these came with.

Hard recommend.

I said "interestingly good" in the title because, with a military background, I am used to traditional jungle boots ( canvased-toped 8 inchers with hard heels and vent holes) for summer tactical wear. These Viktos boots are not constructed that way, but vent out heat very well. Even though they don't have physical vent holes, the canvas material is woven loose enough to not warrant them.
Anyone purchasing these boots for hot to tropical weather would not be disappointed.

I have neuropathy in both feet from the ankle's down. My prescription diabetic shoes suck A$$! Like diabetic shoes, these boots are extremely lightweight. The soles are softer than most outdoor boots. I still put in a pair of gel soles although, the inserts should work well for most people. I think the price is a little steep but, for someone like me that can barely find a shoe I can walk in, these are a Godsend.

I was extremely impressed with these boots. I’ve searched for years trying to find a truly breathable boot that was still rugged enough for outdoor use. Boots lined with Gortex do not work for me at all and most desert boots are uncomfortable.

These boots wear like sneakers and after 7 hours pounding pavement, my feet were still comfortable and cool. This was a first!

I’m sold and now a loyal follower of the brand. I will be purchasing more of their product line.

Just got then today so I can't speak towards durably but the seem to be very well made. They are really comfortable and stay nice and cool in hot weather. They have a wide toe box so if you have wide feet and up size to account for that I would recommend not doing it with these.
