Brief but effective

Putting these on I am reminded of Kevin Keegan and Stuart Pearce in the 70's. Remember the shorts that appear to cut them in half. These shorts are the same. They are cut quite high but I broke my PB time the first time I ran in them so they are doing something right!
These are 2:1 shorts. The "compression" layer is very comfortable. No issues with seams or chafing. They don't ride up in use and most importantly for shorts so brief they keep everything in its place if you get my meaning
Bought at a great price. I would certainly recommend

Picture makes it seem as if the liner is a couple inches max longer than the shorts. In reality the shorts are soooo short and the liner is much longer underneath which is a sight to see with the fluorescent yellow and black combo. They’re comfortable and I wear them out of the house but I probably won’t wear them in public.

Unsuitable for running!

Not sure if the pair I received were just defective or it’s a design issue but the stitching on the inside of the liner is rough. After only a 4 short runs it made the inside leg/groin area sore to point of making the skin red raw (imagine joggers nipple but not your nipples!). For me they were totally unsuitable for the intend purpose of running so I have returned them using the Amazon 30 day return policy.
Update: I’ve since had a full refund and purchased an alternative pair. Although 3 times the price of these they are a million times better, and I can comfortably run in them. So it’s not the style of shorts but quality that was the issue.

Really disappointing - painful chafing

Bought these based on positive reviews and the nice design, but unfortunately they caused a lot of chafing in the nether region the first time I used them on a run of 14km. I'm on the upper end of a Medium (6'0", 32" waist) but the inner compression layer was first too loose and didn't hold everything in place as it should. Really disappointing as I just as easily could have purchased shorts from a reputable brand like Karrimor or Under Armour for the same price, but thought I'd give these a shot. Would not recommend.

Comfy running shorts

I’ve only recently bought these but so far they’ve stood up well over some long distances. Tested them on a 12 mile run over the hills of Rossendale followed by a 25 mile run on the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Both times they were really comfortable & lightweight. The sewn in undershorts were a nice touch as I normally wear undershorts anyway. Can’t fault these at all, great value for money. Worth noting, the sizes are in EU. I just googled UK to EU sizes & ordered the equivalent.

These are okay for my running. Bought these to hold my junk down so I don't look like Linford Christie when out running. The waist is fine and there is a drawstring but the lining doesn't sit right. I'd prefer it to sit right up there holding my jewels hand in glove but in order to do this you have to pull the legs up which unfortunately means they ride up whilst running. I have sort of found a sweet spot but it takes a bit of fiddling before going out

A good pair of budget running shorts, delivered next day when I was away from home without my kit.

Love the colours and design. I love the fit and how snug they are around your thighs.

Only disappointment is the pocket at the rear. It is deeper than most in this position and if I were to put gels or keys in it then, say, sit down to put my running shoes on, the items in the pocket sit right under your bum hole. They feel like they want to go in. Not a great feeling - or maybe it is for you. But I won't buy them again for that reason. I'll stick to branded shorts where they've done a bit of product testing.

Sizing is off

Quality is good but the sizing seems off to me.

Length: The length of the under short is good, but the shorts themselves are very short - I am not a tall man, standing in at 5’8. I would not recommend these shorts if you’re 5’8 or taller. They sit higher up my leg than my boxers!

Stretch/Width:
I am a powerlifter and I have 22” thighs. The outer short part is a good size, nice and loose but the under short is just a little too tight, riding up my legs all the time (especially when my legs are pumped).

I would love to try a bigger size as the quality is good for the money, but I have taken the tag off unfortunately.

Bought 2 pairs for my hubby and son, both really happy with them, my son is particularly fussy about running shorts, he likes the 2 in 1 pairs but they can be quite bulky and sometimes very long, he has hated the really short running shorts that everyone is wearing but these are a wonderful compromise, not too long or bulky and not too short. AND they are not £40 ! - brilliant, quick delivery too - thankyou!
