Waterproof and windproof. Great value.

I bought this as I had gone on holiday in the UK with a more optimistic outlook on the weather than proved to turn out. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is. The outer shell is plastic coated so it is very waterproof and windproof. You can tighten the sleeves to provide better insulation and the inner has a light fleece that makes the coat comfortable to wear.

While the plastic coating makes the coat very waterproof, it is not breathable like the more expensive branded materials (eg Gortex) so you will overheat if the temperature is warmer. But you can take it off an carry it, as the coat is also light and compact.

Absolutely beautifully sculpted jacket. However wore it twice and found on both occasions that my arms were soaking. The rain was moderate so I expected it to be at least rainproof if not totally waterproof. Unfortunately not. As a casual jacket yes as a raincoat no.

This coat is absolutely 💯% NOT waterproof! Not even close! It's barely showerproof!
If you want a comfortable, fairly lightweight coat for a chilly evening that may throw up a very light shower then this is the coat for you.
IF YOU WANT A COAT THAT KEEPS YOU DRY IN THE RAIN..... THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU!

Apart from problems with getting the correct size and keeping the hood up in windy wet weather this coat is almost perfect. Windproof and almost wateroroof.
inside pocket and flexible cuffs. An inch or 3 longer would be better. So almost perfect.

Bought two small for me as I am a female and it was sizes for a male ordered a large as per normal for my husband would not zip up and short in the arm , contacted them to ask for an exchange but I had to go through the process of sending back ,getting refund and then reordered a bigger size ,no problem with all that but because I ordered two originally I lost the discount on the new replacement one couple of pounds but it would have been great to have had it ,as I have bought two from them ,SO GO BIGGER SIZE I RECOMMEND,other than that lovey and light weight with plenty of concealed pockets .

Got this jacket for a hike up Helvellyn in the Lake district and safe to say it did a bloody good job as it was -13⁰ at the top and 40mph winds 🙈 I had a few base layers on underneath the jacket but it kept me very warm and kept the stekmg winds out, hood could be better by the velcro reaching round to join up by the chin, this could keep the hood up in string winds, but the review is good for it keeping me warm and dry up the top, strongly made and would recommend as cheaper alternative to some of the higher end brands!

As a raincoat, it's a good one. But do not expect a miracle for the price you are paying. It's a summer jacket and makes you a little warm. This won't protect you in the snow even if you wear layers inside. And the material is not so handsome looking, just like a raincoat. Good for casual Scot Weather though.

well i needed a new lightweight waterproof jacket saw this one thought nice colour stylish good price i checked the size guide and had to go for the biggest they had as the biggest was the only size that was close to fitting me , so i took a gamble and bought it once it came a few days later which was good , once opened up yes was happy with the style colour and feel of it but trying it on was not the easiest task fit my chest well my torso not bad but was snugger than i wanted around my upper arms and was alot slimmer round my waist tan i was expecting i had to pull it up to my chest to put the zip on and pull up but once on looks good but just a bit snugger than i wanted .

This is not watwe proof so please dont buy it . It states water proof but we had a light shower and I put jacket on thinking it was ok seemed ok looked like the water never went though . How ever the water just sat on jacket then started to soak up nicely and love cold wet I became . I was stuck out side all day and probs going to get the flu . Cheers what a crap product .
