Amazing product, cannot reccomend enough

I never usually write reviews but this product is so amazing I decided I had to. I've had my Docs since March now but don't where them very often as they cause me blisters due to the sturdiness of the leather and I'd tried thicker socks but it just wouldn't help, so I bought this Wonder Balsam after reading that it was a great for helping to break them in. I applied a layer using the sponge applicator provided, it's been about three days since I applied and I put them on today with much more ease than before which was great but the even greater thing was that I managed a two hour long hike with my dogs with no pain and no blisters.

I have used this product before and it's good. However, the new packaging contains a lot of air! Not sure if the tin has been under-filled or under-utilised.

Just when I thought I'd found a hard wearing, comfy, pair of decent leather boots, they ripped my heels to shreds on a standard Preschool drop off walk. Was all ready to return them, but a little research persuaded me to persevere. Been using this for a couple of weeks, and although it doesn't have instant results, I can already feel the difference. Needs a bit of patience and effort but if you want comfy boots, that will last more than one winter, I would recommend.

Keep your Docs in top notch

Bought myself a new pair of Docs recently and from reading other reviews,the census was to get this balsam to keep the docs in top condition.What can I say it does exactly what it says on the tin,the soft applicator(which comes with it) is very handy and just use a little amount when applying it onto your Docs.

Just used the 'Wonder Balsam' for the first time today on my 1460 Crazy Horse Leather Boots, which get scratched very easily. Rubbing the wax-like balsam into the boots removes most of the scratches and gives the boots a newer look. I also used them on my smooth leather 1460 boots and they worked the trick on those too - removing scratches and gave them more of a glimmer. I would recommend this product to other doc owners. I think the price is slightly high for what you get - as the balsam isn't filled to the top.

I bought my DM boots back in 2018 and had been using basic leather cleaning wipes whenever my boots got dirty but they never did the trick. Little did I know that DM had their own balm! Yes, this may be pricey, but once applied, the boots look brand new (obviously worn over time). The leather is vibrant and gives the boots a new life. Only need to apply it once a month I find, perhaps twice during the winter months, but these is brilliant. Highly recommend!

Softens Leather on my DR Martens

As most people who have purchased new DOCS will know...they can be pretty tough to break in!
Now i am not saying this balm is a miracle cure but it has certainly softened up the leather on these newly bought Mary Jane DR Marten shoes. In particular around the stiff leather straps. The heel area still remains a force to be reckoned with though! But it is early days. I rubbed a small amount on the inside of the shoes and over the tongue and straps. and a good dollop on the outside ..then left them over night. I used my hands to dip in and out of the tub. [could have used the sponge but prefer to get a good feel of it] Tried them on this morning and have to say they are definitely a bit more supple.. Bottom line...wear them indoors for a couple of hours each day. Wear with thick socks...and dont give in...lots of other good advice but i am sure i will be preaching to the converted!

I’ve had my Dr Martens since Christmas and not worn them as they killed my ankles! A friend recommended this balm and after rubbing it in every day for a week and wearing thick socks, I managed a whole weekend in Dublin in them. Would defo recommend!

Though the description says black ( I knew it was not before buying) its actually a clear wax product for your DMs. Works wonders, really does make boots look fresh and like new again, plus its protecting them. Well worth the price and will last years. The Pictures are a 6 year old pair, and as can be seen on the sole they are worn down so have a load of use and they look great now. If you have Dms you need this!
