With a few of my winter jumpers looking a little tatty, I thought it was time to treat myself to a new one. It had to have a zip, so a cardigan type that zipped up high to the neck was what I was looking for.
This cardigan fitted my requirement just right. Made from 100% cotton it’s a soft heavy jumper that is warm for the winter months but looks smart if you want to put a shirt and tie on, and then unzip it a little.
A nice-looking high neck ribbed jumper that I can wear for different functions.

Poor zipper and okay quality

I was really looking forward to getting this jumper, as I wanted a zippered one. The sizing was good, perhaps a little generous, but was fine. Although the actual jumper felt okay (not exceptional in any way, and perhaps I was hoping for it to feel a bit more comfy), what really let it down was the zipper. On the very first wear the zipper opened up below the zip line. After gently manoeuvring it back out on second attempt the zip’s pull came off in my hand. The zipper feels cheap and flimsy (see picture). I don’t think it represents the quality one would expect. I am returning the jumper which is a real shame.

I bought it to have a warm jumper as I suffer the cold. Arrived ok once I put it on the zip isn't working well, there were pieces of cotton on it and it wasn't that warm anyway. Also, it was too large but that it was my fault to be fair. I had to send it back, received the issue for the money return straight away.

Though advertised as “thick”, this cardigan is simply a thin blended material. I don’t think “knitted” is fair either. It’s a blended polyester that has a knot look. If you’re looking for knit and or warmth from a cardigan, this isn’t the one for you. The zipper is also a very bright silver that isn’t represented on the image. The fit is good and it is comfortable.
