Comfy, waterproof but don’t buy a whole size bigger!

Comfy and waterproof. I saw the reviews and bought a size 6 (I’m usually between 5 and 5.5.
But 6 is too big but had already worn them outside so couldn’t return. I have to wear 2 pairs of thicker socks in them, else they’re too big. So careful about buying a whole size bigger. I wish I’d bought half a size bigger - max.

Not for me!

I run as part of my job. These shoes have started to crack across the top and now a hole has developed and only run a couple of hundred miles.

They are much too heavy as well. It is probably more that I prefer more barefoot style. I had chosen these as I run with dogs so wanted something sturdy but find they are not particularly comfortable and cause some aching around heel.

I really like Salomon products, so don't know what happened here. These shoes fit well, look good and are comfortable to walk in, but on wet rocks, pavement or grass they are literally like roller skates...NO GRIP AT ALL IN THE WET and quite dangerous

Replacing the speedcross 4 ?

If this is the recommended replacement for the Speedcross 4 then I don't agree - comparing the two together - the fit is wide and feels baggy and does not have the structured feel of the speedcross 4 - it does not have the quick tie up laces - generally I am not happy with this purchase. I have to wear thicker socks so the shoe will fit but they are still wide across the front - my partner says I look like I have ducks feet when wearing them.

Looks well made and I would have kept (because I need waterproof supportive walking shoes,) if the right had been as comfortable as the left. Strange shape though narrow to wide which isn't as obvious in the photos.

Habe die Schuhe jetzt etwa 3 Wochen und trage sie täglich...

Das Negative zuerst:
Heute war der erste Tag an dem ich durch schlechtes Wetter bzw durch eine nasse Wiese musste... also meine Socken müssen jetzt erstmal zum Trocknen aufgehongen werden, die kommen nach dem Waschen trockener aus der Waschmaschine raus...!!
Die Tage davor war meine Hundewiese immer nur leicht feucht und ich dachte die 'gefühlte' Feuchtigkeit an den Füßen kommt von meinen Dauereisfüßen, aber wenn ich es mir recht überlege... nope, dann hätte ich zu Eisflossen gleichzeitig Schweißfüße und das ist bei mir definitiv nicht der Fall ;)
Meine Füße wurden übrigens u.a. an der Oberseite des Zehenansatzesnass, der Ferse und der Innenseite des Fußspannes.
Damit kommen wir auch direkt zum nächsten Thema. Die Verarbeitung der Schuhe lässt leider zu wünschen übrig.. auf der Innenseite sind Sohle und Schuhe nicht richtig verklebt bzw die Naht sieht nicht gleichmäßig aus, das gleiche ist vorne an der Spitze der Fall..

Zum Positiven:
Bequem ist der Schuh, sehr sogar! Super Sohle mit der ich super trittsicher bin. Die "Stollen" graben sich richtig in den Boden beim gehen bzw laufen .
Optisch macht er auch was daher! Ein schönes mattes schwarz mit toller Optik durch die 2 Stollen der Sohle vorne.
Die Schnürsenkel sind schön rau wodurch auch ein einfacher Knoten nicht direkt wieder aufgeht.

Dopo averla usata 4 volte, la linguetta che poggia sul tallone d'achille ha iniziato a grattare facendomi venire vesciche, premetto che non sono il tipo che infila le scarpe da chiuse, ma le tratta sempre con cora. Purtroppo essendo passato un mese, le ho portate ad un mercatino dell'usato in vendita, orribili personalmente, meglio le vecchie speedcross.

la mia recensione riguarda il colore, perchè le scarpe sono ottime.
Ho preso queste perchè nella descrizione c'era scritto grey, invece sono un verdino spento. Nella foto si vede bene lo sfondo del mobile grigio e fa capire la differenza tra verdino e grigio.
Detto questo nessun problema, ma 5 stelle non le metto per errata descrizione del colore
