Now being paralysed from chest down and wheelchair bound I guess I'm the last person you expect to read a review from for hiking boots but truth is I destroy more of them now than I ever did before, I also have added issue that my ankles swell up if remain sitting down to much, meaning at start of day boots fit perfect but by mid afternoon are real tight, I dare'nt take them of as will never get back on again but with the added zip it has solved that issue, boot opens up real wide and are so well made they even have an elastic gusset behind the zip and tongue to keep out annoying stones and debris.
I am honestly at a loss to understand how they can produce this quality at the price they cost.
I was worried about size but I chose my normal size as stated and they fit like a glove and look great with any colour or style of trouser from combat trousers to jeans, they have great grip that stick to my wheelchair foot plate and dont keep sliding off so can imagine would make great traction, they also offer great heel support and toes dont feel bunched up, they even came with an extra set of thicker laces, dont even get that with named designer footwear, was actually pleasantly surprised they never came boxed especially if your an Amazon junkie like me.
If I could give them more stars I would, thankyou Mama Amazon.x
