An heißen Tagen steigt man gern in die kurze Hose. Ich war zunächst etwas skeptisch, ob das Material auch bewegungsfreundlich ist oder ob es sofort zwickt und drückt, wenn man mal in die Hocke geht, darin arbeitet oder Sport treibt. Hier wurde ich aber angenehm überrascht, die Shorts machen wirklich alles mit und bleiben auch bei extremsten Verrenkungen luftig und bequem. Als Verschluß hat man einen praktischen Druckknopf gewählt, das ist etwas ungewöhnlich aber in der Praxis sehr angenehm, da das Einfriemeln eines Knopfes in das Knopfloch entfällt. Auf der Innenseite haben die Shorts ein Zugband, mit dem man sie nach Wunsch enger stellen kann, aber für die Gürtelfreunde gibt es natürlich auch Gürtelschlaufen. Man findet zwei Hosentaschen vor, jedoch keine Gesäßtaschen, aber das finde ich nicht so schlimm. Der einzige etwas größere Wermutstropfen ist das Material. Die Shorts sind aus 100% Polyester, das heißt, es gibt keine Atmungsaktivität. Wer lange darin sitzt, arbeitet, sportlert usw. kommt ins Schwitzen und der Schweiß bleibt wo er ist. Außerdem fühlt sich das Ganze etwas seltsam an, so wie eine Zeltplane oder eine Einkaufstasche. Das ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Tatsächlich hatte ich anfangs immer das Gefühl, in einem Einkaufsbeutel zu stecken. Aber man gewöhnt sich daran. Fazit: wem das Material nichts ausmacht, der bekommt prima Shorts zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Freunde von Baumwolle & Co. sollten Abstand nehmen.

Polyester-Shorts für den Sommer, mit schwachen Nähten

Ich erhielt schwarze Polyester-Sommershorts Größe 32 aus Bangladesh.
Die Passform ist körperbetont.
Der Po wird also herausgestellt und man kann den Bund zusätzlich mit einem Band weiter einengen.

Ein Druckknopf trägt die ganze Verantwortung für den Halt.
Daneben gibt es noch einen Reissverschluss.
Die beiden Hosentaschen sind groß und bequem.
Die kleine Gesäßtasche ist mit einem Reissverschluss versehen.

Das Material ist entsprechend der Jahreszeit sehr dünn und leicht.
Da aber Polyester eher den Schweiss einsperrt und die schwarze Farbe Hitze speichert,
gibt es sinnvollere Sommerkleidung.
Die Hose kann bei 40 Grad gewaschen werden.

Die Verarbeitung ist eher schlicht. Besonders Innen finde ich viele schnell geheftete Fädchen an den Nähten.
Für die Ewigkeit ist das nicht angefertigt.

Ein wenig zu klein, qualitativ aber i.O.

Normal trage ich eine W34 und hatte auch noch keine Passform-Probleme. Die Hose hier durfte ich testen und hab sie daher direkt mal bestellt, da meine Größte angeboten wurde :-)

Zuerst einmal zur Verarbeitung: Die Hose ist qualitativ i.O., ich sehe keine einzige Naht irgendwie offen stehen oder irgendwelche Fäden abstehen. Das ist schon mal ein großer Pluspunkt. Eine andere Hose, die ich getestet hatte, war was das angeht ein echtes Minenfeld.
Der Stoff an sich fühlt sich okay an, ein wenig wie eine Arbeitshose o.Ä. - schwer zu beschreiben. Auf jeden Fall spürt man deutlich den hohen Anteil an Kunstfaser an der Hose. Die Länge ist okay und mit 9" auch passend angegeben. Für den Sommer eine echt gute Länge!
Allerdings lohnen sich für mich die Gürtelschlaufen nicht - denn die Hose fällt für mich etwas zu klein aus.

Ansonsten kann ich die Hose für jeden empfehlen, zumindest zum Testen :-)

Great pair of shorts--Just not a fan of the rear pocket

So far I've been pleased with all the Amazon Essentials clothing I have ordered. It was time to refresh my summer shorts and these were a cost effective solution with plenty of colors to choose from.

I ordered the olive green to try, and the fit was on point. They fell just above the knee and are the perfect width, not super loose, and not obnoxiously form fitting. The waist has a bit of stretch, which is always appreciatied.

The material is lightweight and feels good on the skin. Although I like the look of cotton shorts better, these aren't super shiny like some of the lighter polyester fabrics. I will say that after a short walk, there was quite an unsightly sweat stain 'down below'. Don't expect much as far as moisture management. If you tend to sweat a lot, I'd go with a very light or very dark color. Those middle colors, like this green, will show perspiration.

My biggest gripe is the back pocket. There is only one--and it's zipper closed. Not my favorite, but not a deal breaker. What is bad, is the size of it. I can barely fit my wallet in it and it's even harder to try and pry it out once it's in. The opening should absolutely be at least .5-1" bigger. I would like to see two open larger back pockets instead of one small zippered one. The only other flaw I saw is that when closed, the fabric that covers the zipper seems slightly too small at the top and creates a bit of a bulge.

Overall I am pleased and may order a few more pairs. I'll have to report back on the longevity, which is my biggest concern. The fabric is thin and my larger thighs have a habit of ripping out the crotch of every pair of pants I own. I'll have to report back.

A little tight but nice

I ordered these shorts for my husband and they fit him perfect! They look good on him, and he says they are very comfortable. He likes them a lot because the fabric is smooth, lightweight and airy, and he also likes the color.

These shorts are woven so there is no stretch to them. They’re pretty versatile so you can wear them almost anywhere, but in my opinion too nice to wear doing yard work or anything where denim would be more appropriate. These shorts have a YKK fly zipper with snap closure at the waist, 2 deep front pockets, 1 zipper close pocket in the back on the rights side (no back pocket on the left side), 5 belt loops, and a functional drawstring on the inside of the waist. There is a 1-3/4” side slit at the bottom of each leg. The fiber content is 100% polyester so they won’t shrink if you follow the labeled care instructions to machine wash cold, and tumble dry low.

The only issue we had with these shorts is there was a little hole at the bottom of one of the front pockets, so I had to sew that up so he could use that pocket (hence the 4 stars instead of 5). Otherwise, these are beautiful, well-fitting shorts that are worth giving a try.

These shorts are almost like swimwear. By which I mean that the fabric feels like some boardshorts do, in that it's slick with a synthetic feel.

When these shorts arrived our teen was a 32 waist. The length of these shorts was good for him and the cut was slim, but it’s a good thing that there is an internal string or he would have had to wear a belt.

TLDR/
The fabric is sturdy, the shorts are well sewn.

The snap on the pair we got was ‘stubborn’. That may change over time.

I liked that the back pocket was zippered. If you’re out and busy, stooping and sitting, you are not going to lose your phone/money/pocketknife, etc.

I like the internal drawstring to adjust the shorts if you need a snugger fit.
