One of the best hiking shoes I have ever owned!

I was on the fence for a while before ordering these shoes. I mostly only buy Merrell. Which usually lasts me about 6 months before their look and comfort start deteriorating. It also seems like Merrell's style or appearance hasn't changed over the past 10 years and the shoes that they do make that I like, the quality lessens with every new version while the price stays the same or goes up.
When I came across these, I liked the way they looked and the product description made them sound comfortable and durable. So I figured I would give them a shot. I could not be happier with this shoe. These are pretty much my everyday shoes. I wear them for my everyday business and hiking. I have had these shoes for a little over a month now and have probably put around 100 miles on them from hiking alone. They are still as comfortable as the first time I put them on. The insole gives me good support, while the shoe is rugged enough to go on advanced trails. During hikes, I often find myself thinking about how wonderful these shoes are.
Seriously, give these shoes or brand a shot if you haven't done so before.

Good all weather shoe for pavement/hard, even trails

I needed a hiking shoe for wet weather. During the week, my hikes are usually 5-7 miles in any weather. During the summer I usually just wear running shoes, but in the fall I wanted a shoe that would keep my feet dry in rain and snow. Below are my first impressions after about 20 miles. I’ll update as I put more miles in, too.

Fit: I wear a 10.5 in a dress shoe and my feet are a little wide, so I usually size up to get more room in the toe box. 11.5 was an almost perfect fit with medium-weight Darn Tough socks.

Best for: Pavement and hard trails
Bonus: Very water resistant. Good on wet/slushy pavement and in light snow. Kept my feet dry the whole time.
Not recommended for: Technical/uneven trails, ice.

Overall, I’d buy again

Cheap Craftmanship, Stay Away and Find Another Brand

I bought these shoes April 28, 2021. By September 2021, I already saw tears at the heels in each shoe (see the photos attached).

I was using them for walking and barely anything terribly strenuous.

These shoes were over $100 and rated as better than Merrill (another low quality brand).

Please do yourself a favor and find a company that puts pride into its products, craftmanship, and for that matter, customer support as the person I spoke to at Oboz was completely unhelpful.

Stay away from this sham, low quality company.

Impossible to tighten

This has been a common theme among shoe companies, to offer less lace eyelets, this shoe falls in to that category. It feels well made and fits nicely, but it is impossible to correctly tighten. Despite the fit being about perfect, no matter how much you tighten it, your heel can move within the shoe just enough to cause major problems. Look elsewhere if you want to walk in these shoes.

Great shoes, but anyone purchasing them needs to know that the lighting in which these shoes are pictured make them lighter. . The shoes are very dark in color. The dark gray is almost black, and the light gray is more of a charcoal. The blue is very dark too.

Shoes arrived on time. They are significantly darker in color as opposed to the advertised pictures. I hope they will lighten over time with wear. Other than that, they are good. Update. After about a month of wear, they're not the most comfortable shoe. Narrow toe box and the insole seems pretty hard. Still disappointed with the color, definitely not as pictured
