Don't listen to reviews. Just buy your size you normally wear. I made that mistake and had to reorder.
For reviews saying how soft these are, they obviously normally wear relatively stiff shoes and are fine with how these feel. But I'm gunna say right now, for those who want cloud soft bouncy shoes, these are not it.
I will say, you can buy $50 asics that feel the same, if not better. These shoes had so much hype on how soft they were, and they were hard as a rock. If you're looking for soft and already plan to pay $150, go koba or new balance. Those shoes are worth every penny foe the bounce and cushion.
These shoes had the least cushion I've ever felt it was ridiculous. Go to a running shoe store and feel the difference, you won't regret it. I was really annoyed at how much time I spent researching and all the hype surrounding these just to end up with another hard shoe that felt like any other. Koba or new balance is what you want for serious cushion.

Beware Brooks Glycerin 18 is very different than the Glycerin 17. The 18 causes foot pain!

I have worn several Brooks Glycerin models but the Glycerin 18 was very different. It was NOT nearly as cushy and caused long lasting foot pain on my right foot and heel pain. My sister who also runs and walks experienced the very same thing. We are strong supporters of Brooks running shoes just not the Glycerin18 at all. I bought this shoe months before my Glycerin 17 was worn. Because of the time span, before I used them, Amazon held back $30 of my refund bc the refund time had expired. I feel like sending Brooks a bill for my foot pain! I am going to give Brooks one more try and I won't be buying my shoes early any longer. I am thankful to Amazon for the return.

Fit different than other Glycerin models- BUYER BEWARE!!!

These shoes do not fit like other Glycerin shoes I've bought in the past. I bought a 7.5 wide and they are squishing my feet. My left foot keeps going to sleep. Now my little toe on my left foot is bruised. I only put 17 miles on these shoes and have to order different shoes. I usually buy Ghost or Glycerin shoes. I switch out once one pair has 400 miles. I'm very disappointed in these shoes! I won't be buying Glycerin again!

I wore the shoes once and the second time I put them on I noticed the blister on the heal. The one one the top of my foot I noticed after a 3 mile run. It was so uncomfortable that I cannot continue to wear them and bleed all over them.

I have worn Brooks Glycerin for years in the same size, and this model is awful in comparison to the older versions. The toe box is super narrow (and I already have narrow feet) and it's just smaller overall and not as cushioned. My toes were going numb when wearing them, but I don't think sizing up will fix this issue. The overall design of the shoe is just too small and odd. Really sad to have to return these, the Glycerin has always been my preferred running shoe.

I was referred to Brooks by an orthopedic doctor. I have plantar fasciitis. I love the fit, comfort and style. I was able to start taking longer walks. I would be ordering my second pair EXCEPT the wear. I’ve only had these just over two months and they are showing many signs of wear. The soles are flaking off the sides. I don’t see them lasting 6 months and that is ridiculous! I just threw away my favorite Nikes that still looked great after 5+ years! I DO NOT recommend!

I was shocked when I open my package. The box the shoes came in was literally destroyed. It had obviously been shipped to someone else and treated very poorly while in their care. The box had pieces ripped off of it and thrown into the box. Shoes were unlaced and loose. The paper that is usually placed between shoes was folded and in the bottom of box. These shoes had been worn or at least had try it on by someone else. No obvious damage to the shoe. But makes me wonder if they are not used.

This is my 4th pair of Brooks Glycerin 18 shoe. I need a wide toe bed for comfort. My other pairs have been very comfortable. This pair hurts after a few hours of wearing them. I also have a few other styles of Brooks shoes and they are great, wide toe bed and can wear them all day with no problem. Wish I could return them but I wore them for a walk not even thinking they would be a problem!

For as much as these cost, I expected better. I've had them for about six weeks and the tread is already peeling off. The shoe is showing signs of wear. I bought these because several reviews said they were best for plantar fasciitis. My pain is actually worse after wearing these than when I wear my Skechers or even Crocs, both of which hold up longer and cost less.
