As others have said, the coat is quite thin, but it could still provide an extra layer against a bit of chill in the air. Just don't expect it to protect like a 'proper coat'. It's very much for visual effect rather than practical wear.
I usually wear size L but I ordered 2XL based on reviews. The 2XL fits me about right so I'm content but I'm glad I didn't order my usual L.
The sewing isn't the neatest but neither is it bad. There are a few hanging threads and very slight puckers but no worse than in a lot of store bought clothes, and not enough to concern me.
As others have also said, the pockets are not real, just flaps for show, and the button holes are similarly bogus and non-functional. Again, it's not a problem as I already knew when I ordered.
On balance, I'm quite pleased. It'll do fine for my requirement - pirate costume for playing in a themed charity fundraising band. Quality is not great but is perfectly reasonable and a bit better than I'd expected. From my experience I'd suggest going up a size or two from your usual but others have found their usual size to be correct. Make of that what you will.
Delivery isn't lightning fast but, on the other hand, it did come exactly when the order details said it would so that's fine.
