Bought these shoes for work. There are suitable as day ware, in a school, but they start to look old and tired quickly. The leather is thin and starts to wrinkle in a short time after new. The sole is made up of plys of leather ( or maybe synthetic leather ) and starts to sepperate when it gets wet. Yes I live in the UK where it rains a lot, but I apply polish and leather shoe cream every day, so It's really the make-up of the shoe that's at fault. Sought I buy again? No. Unfortunately, everything is mega overpriced in rip off Britain so you have to get what you can afford, unless you are rich, and can afford to spend £300-£400 pound for Goodyear welted shoes with quality leather.

These are quite stiff but being leather I'm sure they'll soon soften up will use. The colour is nice and deep but at one place around the edge, they do look like the colour is a little thin, almost like they were coloured after being made (I don't believe that is the case though, just the only way I can describe it). They look very smart but would definitely give them a walk around the house first before a long day in the office. Maybe I'm just too used to my soft dealer boots and casual shoes rather than a nice polished pair like this.
They do look smart when they're being worn though.

A really comfortable, smart and stylish mens shoe. I have found these incredibly versatile, wearing them for work and different social occasions.

The colour is really amazing, a deep maroon/ox blood, that is surprisingly easy to match with!

These can easily be worn for a whole day, with no pain due to the cushioned insole that is in the shoe.

The finish quality is great, on par with my pair of doc martens - just a fraction of the price.

I would really recommend these shoes!

Havent got myself a new pair of shoes in a while as i dont wear them to often and try to get away with a nice pair of trainers when i can, these wear very comfortable to wear and fit perfectly, the shoes has small damage on the sole so idk if that is normal, other than that they are well made, stiching is nice, a very good pair of shoes.

These are surprisingly decent quality, and guy as expected (in size 9). Stiff for first day but no problems once worn in. The 'red' is really a very subtle brown, it looks quite a traditional site colour even if it sounded unusual on the description. The effect is a smart rather than casual shoe.

They look a quality shoe. When you first put them on they feel quite stiff but after being worn once or twice they soon soften. The colour says red but comes up a dark brown and looks really nice. Good smart pair of shoes, not for working in. Leather uppers and synthetic inside. Well worth the money.

Really good quality shoes, need a bit of breaking as they are quite stiff, the soles don't have much grip on them either but they look very smart nice mahogany colour
