The best socks!

As I work upto 10 hours a day wearing heavy work boots. I needed a good pair of socks specially through the summer months where my feet and socks would sweat and it would be uncomfortable. I went through several socks and with no luck.

I came across Merino Wool and its benefits for keeping feet cool during summer months. I was a bit sceptical and given the prices of certain merino wool socks, I was put off.

However the Bonangel merino wool socks are decently priced compared to other brands and with free returns, I decided to give it a go. Boy am I glad I did!! The socks are AMAZING! So comfortable, fit perfectly, so soft and the best thing, they do not make my feet sweat, hurt or become hot!

These are exactly what I've been looking for. Whether you need it for casual wear or work related. Give these socks a go, they are fantastic!

I can't recommend these, no blisters. Don't think so, first day I wore them the photo says it all. Don't waste your money as not as described. Very poor shouldn't be allowed to discride as no blister misrepresentation..... Not a happy shopper. I work a on my feet and my work boots are comfy and worn in, and am required to patrol. Got these to replace old socks wish I hadn't bothered.

2Nov2019 (upgraded assessment to five stars): As indicated in my below review of 7th Oct, I initially awarded 3 stars, because the product as packaged gave no indication of fabrication. The seller contacted me shortly after, and indicated an eagerness to address the omission. Today I can attest and confirm that the seller has been good to their word, and socks -- from new supplied batches -- do indeed have fabrications indicated on the packaging; though some previously supplied stock may not have the updated packaging. Given the willingness of the seller to address the issue, I had agreed that on provision of evidence to such affect I would raise my review to 4 stars, however, because of their proactiveness I have raised my review to 5 stars.

7Oct2019 (Initially gave three stars): The socks are indeed very comfortable. I would give 5 stars if I felt confident about their materials of fabrication. However, the packaging that they came in gave no indication of the sock fabrication, so while I hope that the socks contain 50% Merino wool, I actually have no clue as to what they are composed from.

These are a nice sock
I like a sock that keep my feet temperature neutral whatever the weather these seem to achieve that
They are a little thinner than my usual choice but I have found that to be ok
They are a one size fit and were a little long for my feet but only a bit & that seems to have stabilised after a wash I also fold them down at this time of year but there’s plenty of sock to keep the calf covered if required
Overall a good purchase I cannot comment on durability yet but “toes crossed “ they’ll be ok
I have previously bought a more expensive brand of merino sock and the back of the heel wore down pretty quickly so I’m hopeful these will be my new go to socks

Ordered 3 pair of these socks to try.
Packaging was a clear cellophane packet and socks clipped together by the Bonangel label. (Nothing to say about Merino wool or the fibres used, only washing instructions.)
Trying them on I found them comfortable and immediately warm.... Just the thing for winter.
I liked the red band around the toe area, a little simple design but very pleasing.

Standing outside on a frosty morning and watching my Grandson play football, normally my toes would be freezing in my normal socks and walking boots.
Wearing these Bonangel Merino wool pair, my feet were cosy and warm and so very comfortable.
I came home and imediatly ordered six more pair of the same design.
That's how pleased I was with these Bonangel socks.

Maybe I have fat legs so this won't apply to most people but after spending 8 hours a day standing up I came home to find the bottom part of my feet as white as paper. This is easily fixed though since I just rolled them down to a third of their length. Still... I did not have to do this with my other pair of Merinos.

It also feels slightly more hard than other socks I've worn. This isn't necessarily a bad thing since it's not enough to detract any comfort from it but it could be a sign of quality issues? We'll see down the line.

Aside from those two points these things have been fantastic. No longer do I need to wear thicker socks to work in an attempt to stave off the winter, nor do I need to worry about sweat patches when I come home from a long day at work. So I'm pretty happy with the purchase despite the aforementioned issues.

Arrived next day best money i have ever spent... 4 pair pack doesnt state what the wool % is however all of the 6 pair packs did ) .. Always suffered from cold feet and came across merino wool socks while looking for a pair of boots.. Ordered a 6 pack and click the wrong link and only ordered 4 pairs however after wearing them for just 1 day i cam back onto the site site and ordered another 6 pairs pack and a 6 pairs pack for my daughter and wife. The socks are extremely comfortable and keep my feet not feeling cold i would not say keep them warm or hot as that isnt what they do they keep them feeling comfortable. have worn them all day in both trainers and work boots 10/10 5/5 or 100/100 however you wish top score them they are excellent.

Good quality socks. I've knocked one star off as I feel they are quite pricey. I've knocked a second star off as I do not feel these are one size fits all / UK 5.5 to 11 as per the description. I'm a UK size 9 and these are too big for me and now I've opened them i doubt i can return them so haven't tried. I'd suggest they were for Men UK size 10+

After running out of patience with M and S i resorted to getting some socks on line and was lucky enough to find these. They are the best socks i have had for many years, they fit well are very comfortable and wash and tumble dry without shrinking and look great into the bargain, I will be buying more.
