Top critical review
3.0 out of 5 starsSeems like excellent value for money but difficult to rate on basis of short term experience

Prior to this purchase, I had bought three or four wallets over a 4-5 year period. These cost me between £23 and £70. The most expensive of these was bought whilst on a holiday in Florence (or Firenze if you prefer) as a sale item from a rather smart shop. Sadly, this proved to be a less than smart purchase as the wallet was the least durable of any I've owned. It lasted about 6 months before all the stitching started deteriorating. This and splitting of leather -perhaps that should read "leather" for some of the wallets - is the cause for all my previous purchases requiring replacement.
I was drawn to the Amazon wallet as it was offered at a very fair price, it could hold lots of cards but did not seem over-bulky. It also looked as if it was well made, When it arrived, I was pleased to find reality matched my impressions.
I cant really rate durability as yet - I've only had it a few weeks after all.
It certainly feels like it will last a year or three and - lets face it - if it lasts 12 months without any deterioration it will have proven better than any others I've owned.
Sheerness....I can't rate what I dont understand (WTF is sheerness?????).
So far, only criticism is the presence of the coin purse. I dont want to grapple with such things, I'd rather keep coins in a pocket so this makes for uneccessary bulk in my view.
Hard to rate accurately on the experience of a few weeks ...thinks, why do Amazon insist on asking for ratings when the item concerned is only recently arrived. Ask me in a years time!!
Based on what I've got in my hands and experience so far, 3 stars seems fair - anything higher would be based on hope/expectation. Nevertheless, I would recommend it!
