Size is important

I bought these as I've a double inguinal hernia coming on which is getting a bit painful when I'm running (I don't do much, just the 5k three times a week). I hoped they would give more support than normal running shorts. My waist is exactly 32 inches (just measured it) so I got medium, as everyone on here said go up if in doubt.

They give some noticeable compression of my thighs and bottom but don't really apply any meaningful pressure to the front of the groin, although they are usefully supporting me bits. In this size they're actually very comfortable, I could probably wear these all day. However for my specific need, perhaps I should have gone for small? I think those would be too unpleasantly tight to wear for anything more than a short run or workout though, and these are excellent value for money, I will definitely be wearing them and they're not sold as providing hernia support, to be fair. At this price I'm not at all unhappy.

OK, but not great!

As pants go, these are fine, they seem quite well made, but for compression shorts, I'd say the fabric is too streachy to do any good. The fabric is quite thin, which isn't a problem, but compared to other manufacturers of such shorts, that I have previously bought, there is less resistance to the streachy, which to my mind is what compressionwear is all about. For me there's also a slight "fit" issue too, as though I feel the size I orderd is correct (I wouldn't want them any tighter on the waist band) they are actually baggy, at the bottom of the leg, though I obviously realise we are all different shapes, & for many people this won't be a problem.

I've put on a fair few pounds during the pandemic, and I started suffering REALLY bad chafing at work to the point I was bleeding some days. Didn't know what to do other than buying new jeans, but saw reviews for these and figured meh why not give em a try. Absolute life savers these things, they're incredibly comfy (unbearably skin tight, but then I can't stand tight fit boxers) and snug, and they're really long so they don't really ride up if you're doing a lot of lifting and bending. I've had them for a few months now, and the quality is still there. Highly recommend if you've packed on a bit of chub too and can hear your thighs scraping together when you walk.

I work 12 hr shifts in a warm environment in a uniform that is as breathable as concrete so can get sweaty down there. Normal cotton underwear just stays wet and does not dry and that leads to "Chub Rub" LOL I have worn these for one shift and they are brilliant. I still sweat but I don't feel it with these - they dry quick and are very comfy on and keep me cool. I am a 38waist and ordered XL and would say its the right size a L may be too tight. I have confidence in them I have bought another pack and after one wash seem to be fine

My body seems to be allergic to most things and friction doesn't go well with my skin. My shorts seem to irritate the inside of my thighs and create a red itchy rash on the skin. I got these compression shorts to prevent that from happening and so far so good. I can go out for a run and come home without any irration at all.

The base shorts are well made and of good quality and the overall value for money is good. They fit me as expected and are good for the price paid.

I don't know if you're like me, but wearing a pair of cotton boxer shorts, especially in the warmer weather, can be a painful experience.
If you do a job that is physical, a job where you get a sweat on on a daily basis, those cotton briefs can really mop up the sweat and begin to....... chaff. And nobody wants to be spending their work day with an itching crotch of fire now, do they?
These shorts are great as a replacement for your cotton underoos. They breathe more, they're thinner (thus keeping the little fellas cooler) and the fact that they come almost down to the knee means there's no seam irritating the upper inner thigh.
In fact, out of the lycra type cycle short sorta shorts that I've had in the past, these are by far the better short.

Definitely be buying more

So we'll infact that I purchased more and now use them as my everyday underwear.
Very supportive for the undercarriage and comfortable to wear either at the gym or all day.

Have been shopping around for some good boxers for a long time now, saw these read alot into them before purchasing. Good reviews and reasonable pricing so I thought I'd take a shot at it and try them.

Tried them on for a 12 hour shift at work, no riding up or movement at all from the long leg that sits roughly 4 inches or so just above my knees, have tones of freedom moving around, bending, squating & lifting legs. No chafing or "chub rub" as us over sized people call it. Used to have problems in hot weather with sweat down there causing chaffing which got sore so these were my last hope and what a treat they've worked for me. Nice snug fit (not overly tight too) I'm 5ft 9 and just under 15st so I'm carrying abit of weight around. Yes these shorts are for sport as advertised but if you want them for comfort I'd give them a 10/10 and they keep your bits and bobs down there in place nicely.
Top product, would certainly recommend to a friend and I'm someone who's very picky with clothes

Bought these for my partner for Christmas. He has another set of 3 which he bought for working out in but now prefers them over his other boxers since he gets more range and less awkuard "sticking to the leg" moments.

It wasn't until he was putting a pair of the new ones on that we noticed in at least 2 of them there is some loose/dangling threads. His others were completely fine, though he does still wear these ones (we've noticed no actual issue with them no holes still fit fine)
