NOT a half size bigger.

So many reviews say to order a size up. DO NOT. They are exact sizing. I usually wear a 10.5 and ordered an 11 but they were too big. Order your real size. Viktos footwear has a wide toe box so it makes their shoes/boots fit better. These boots are awesome looking and well made. The break in period is long though since the material is very hard due to it all being 100% synthetic. As far as traction goes it's not the best, the rubber becomes very hard when it's cold and becomes very slippery on ice or snow. Viktos makes decent stuff, not great stuff, lol.

EDIT 11/2021 - Almost a year later and I still cant break them in. They kill my feet.

Ankle stabbing, was hoping for more

I bought these for work since I'm in my feet all day in a wet environment and have been coming home with sore arches the last couple months. The size may have been off but where the tongue meets the rest of the shoe there is a sharp bump that was stabbing the insides of my ankles. This made the shoe unbearable for me and I tried adjusting the toung and laces but the bump remained there no matter what I did on both shoes. The insoles didn't seem like anything special and at the price if $140 I was expecting more. The shoes looked decent aesthetically but honestly looked bigger, bulkier and cheaper in person. I ended up returning them and went to a local boot store and got some wolverine water proof boots for $150 and boy can you tell the difference in quality. I hope someone likes these boots because they have potential but for me it was a big no.

Starts out a bit stiff, but breaks in nicely. Very light weight. Durability seems questionable as the materials seem cheap but only time will tell, so far im enjoying them, the only thing that disappoints me is that these boots are of course made in China and not here in the states, i had a feeling that was the case but at least now i know, ill run them till they die but wont buy another pair. Update, boots are already starting to fall apart, definitely will not buy another pair.
