My Mac is the 13 inch, original silver colour. I’ve attached with and without the clear macbook case. Product is defo good for its value! Apple logo can still be seen and it makes the macbook matte.The only issue that I’ve had so far is it smears very easily as shown in the third pic. However, for its price it’s definitely worth it!

Time isn't this product's friend.

When I initially got this, I was over the moon. It fitted like a glove. However, a year or so in, and I find that it is literally crumbling apart. Every time I open my laptop, another piece of plastic drops off. Mostly from the corners, but the cracks are beginning to encroach into the main body. At one point, a piece fell off and landed between the screen bottom and the main body. I didn't realise until I closed the lid, heard a crack, opened it again and there was this piece of plastic and the screen, broken.

I take care of my computer as it cost a lot of money and I need to have it available all of the time as I am a photographer and a music teacher. That means. it is NOT subject to travelling abuse as it is in a bag that is in itself, protective. That means, double protection. So I do not recommend this product as it won't last.

Fits on easily and does not mark

This was my third attempt at fitting a case to my MBP 16 inch. I bought another brand back in June and it was awful. Fitted on ok but showed all the smears and marks. It then just started splitting.
So case number 2 was ordered, another brand. Could not get the top cover to clip on. I was in danger of damaging my MBP. Had to send it back.
Then I ordered this brand. Beautiful crystal clear and glossy. It clipped on easily but is firmly attached. It hardly shows a mark and the glossy finish really enhances the look of the machine.
Not sure about the keyboard cover but only bought it for the hard case.
Could only award 4 stars for durability as I have only been using it for a couple of weeks, will update my review in the future.

Difficult to attach screen shell

Shell arrived promptly (Thank you Amazon and seller)
I bought the black version, it is slightly translucent so I can still (just) see the Apple logo)
It seems to be well made and IMHO looks amazing.
The bottom shell clicked on fairly easily ... but the top shell (for the display) was ... difficult. It took me a few minutes of massaging/pushing/pulling and eventually what seemed like forcing it to clip on.

At the end of the day though I recommend this item.
Not too expensive.
Seems fit for purpose.

Overall happy, just slight fitting issue as every time I open and close the laptop the case clicks at the hinge. Eventually this will cause wear on the case at the back where it pivots. Not happened yet though and so I’m giving a thumbs up for now.

Pretty sturdy, a nice matte finish which is also smooth and comfortable to feel. Apple logo shines through it which is a great look. Keyboard mat - although its not the most comfortable to feel and type on compared to the bare keys, it fits well, the lights shine through and it does a great job of protecting the keys. Both parts of the case fit well on my laptop and looks great - however, you may have trouble keeping the case clear of smudges from fingerprints.

Sturdy case and fits well. Only issue is the casing on the bottom doesn’t allow for the adapter that was a recommended product to fit as it needs to be snug to the MacBook and this does not allow. I have now decided to just use the top casing so that the adapter can be used

Just received this product today. I was a bit sceptical to use it as I thought it will scratch the laptop. The case already came with small exterior scratches but it doesn't bother me.
