Mitch and the gang before the popularity of the beach running made this series the most watch TV programme on the planet! Very watchable if not a little cheesy at times. But as the season progressed, it made me wish I could get the next 10 seasons! So that will be an eventual target!

The sound quality of this series drops in and out and pilot is not well acted. David Hasslehoff seems uncomfortable in it. Any Pamela Anderson fans need bot buy it as she comes in later seasons.

Good but some skip

The dvd is great, and it’s in french which is nice, but so far the DVD’s I have tried keep ‘freezing’ and skipping in places which is very annoying

Amazon Prime Video subscriptions not viable without expiry dates.

I rate this 1 star as was available in prime subscription way too short. It only became available in January, then 6 months later removed. To watch every single episode you needed to know it was available in January then watch one episode per day, which is not viable for the average user, only telly addicts.

It would be somewhat understandable if it was for purchase too, give you a bit if a sample and buy. If it becomes available to buy I will.

Fremantle spends 10 months remastering this, then gets only six months in Prime? Pathetic. Amazon are cheap skates to renew.

If they supplied expiry dates, I personally could have watched 1 episode per day if it said it was leaving prime in July when it entered in January, but following this anything can leave Prime at any time, so unless you can watch everything you want to watch within a month or less then Prime subscriptions not worth unless they start adding in expiry dates, then you can manage what you watch more easily.

As for the show The remaster in HD was great, even with the music changed, and the cropped 16:9 did not annoy me as much.

Dont bother with this UK rip-off, buy German

Strange that the German version of the same Season 1 is 1083 minutes long in comparison to the edited UK set of only 1035 minutes. The pilot in itself contains some scenes on the German set that were not on the UK one. Go to amazon.de for the real item on six discs.

Buy Hawaiian Reunion instead.

Waste of time. Not aged well. Music poor. Picture flickered.

My advice, get some still photos of the girls from the internet and buy Hawaiian Reunion instead which sends itself up but is actually quite good fun , unlike this rubbish.

I am from Australia and received these in the post and promptly returned them to Amazon. Is a complete season of Baywatch really Baywatch when the seasons are labeled incorrectly, the music and theme song have been changed and episodes are missing? I don't think so.

Not only have the distributors done fans no favours but Amazon have incorrectly labeled the cast. On the Amazon website as part of advertising for Season 1 they have incorrectly labeled it. If you go by the cast that Amazon have put on, you would think that it WAS the real original Season 1, when we know it is not.

The release in the UK, which is out now and the upcoming release in Australia on March 14th is the real deal. Season 1 is the real season 1 and all subsequent seasons are correct. There are NO episodes missing and the original music and theme song are intact. Might wanna try those regions to buy the real deal.

Don't get me wrong. I love BAywatch, but I simply can't watch the series on dvd. I feel like I just threw money away, like being cheated on. The theme song has been altered, as have the end credits. And as if that wasn't enough, many of the music clips during the episodes, have other songs. It simply doesn't work, as I've come to love the music montages. I want the true show on dvd, with the original music and montages. If shipping to the US weren't so expensive, I'd ship the three season I have straight back to Fremantle. This is not what I paid for. I guess I'll have to buy the German version.

I can't believe I wasted money on season 2 when I wanted series 1. I couldn't be more upset at Amazon for not clarifying the offer. I've had this on pre-order for months and naturally assumed that season 1 meant season 1.
