This is the second Charles Wilson hoodie I’ve ordered from Amazon & that’s not without good reason...an excellent hoodie at not pull your pants down prices & the quality is bang on for your money. I do a lot of dog walking/trailing on my weekends & don’t like paying silly money for clothing I know is going to take a serious beating but I also want to look smart & wear something that will take the abuse..these hoodies fit that criteria perfectly. My only issue & I can’t stress this enough is order a size bigger than you normally would, I’m a large in everything yet my large was far too snug for my liking..this one I ordered is an Xlarge & the fit is lovely so please bear this in mind. My daughter has now inherited my previous one for using down at the horses as I know it will take the abuse she’ll give it...not my first CWilson hoodie & certainly won’t be my last but it will be Xlarge all the way from now on.

Lots of fluff

I wanted an inexpensive hoodie to wear around the house on cooler days. Having had clothes from Charles Wilson before I thought I would give this a try. The fit is good and as expected, it has been washed several times and has kept its shape well, the colour has not run and there is no shrinkage. The only issue I have is that the soft lining inside is now starting to come off and covers the other clothing you wear with this hoodie. I've tried using a clothes brush, sticky tape and I've even hoovered the inside to remove the excess fluff but it comes back after every wash. I have washed it in line with the washing instructions but it still happens. Off to the charity shop with it then.

Great hoodie!! Really nice quality for the cheap price. Liked it so much I bought another in black and will maybe buy a third one too. One little detail to co sided when buying this hoodie is that previous reviews said it was a little on the small side and to buy a size larger than you usually would. This is not the case. I am usually an xl so the first hoodie I bought was an xxl going on the advice from previous reviews. This was a little on the large side but not too massive it looks stupid. The second one I bought was my usual xl and this fits brilliantly. Definitely one of the best hoodies out there and for just over £20 you really can’t beat that. Nice and warm without being too heavy and quite good quality for the price. I saw a review saying the zip was of poor quality but I would not agree. I’ll definitely be buying another

This is my 2nd purchase of a Charles Wilson zipped hoodie. I can only give 5 stars for this garment and I would like to give a higher rating as the all round quality is extremely good. The colour is superb and looks good. The material is soft and comfortable to wear even after a few washes, also the hoodie has kept its shape and the colour vibrancy has remained. I have purchased a size large even though I am a size medium as I like to wear thick jumpers or multiple tops under it. I cannot stress enough how well manufactured this garment is, the material is a 80%cotton/20% polyester mix, the zip is sturdy and the stitching is straight and well maintained around the pockets and cuffs. Also the hood is a good size and not massive like some hoodies. I also like the fact that there is not an oversized brand logo displayed on it which is my preference - there is one on the pocket but it isn't intrusive. I think this hoodie is value for money compared to others on the market. My only criticism is that the previous hoodie I purchased was incredibly soft like baby soft and this hoodie is soft but lower down the softness scale. If you are looking for a true to size hoodie for casual wear this hoodie ticks all the boxes because it is on the less expensive side, not designer, comfortable to wear and well manufactured. The supplier also despatches quickly.

You buy a hoodie online without knowing the brand or seeing it at a cheap price you make assumptions, it’s a genuinely alright hoodie, thicker than I was expecting (as in quality, rather than just poor cloth), fits ever so slightly on the snug side around the mid riff, fits a bit more like a slim/muscle hoodie In it’s cut. But it was the size I ordered
The zip isn’t great but that could well just be mine. Hence the 4/5

Regardless, I’m happy with my purchase. I’d recommend to take a punt if it’s in that £12-15 range.

I don't get the negative reviews.

The hoodie is waaay better than I expected for the price, I brought it for running and expected it to just be a cheap hoodie to keep me warm but honestly I think I'm gonna buy another to wear without getting sweaty.

The quality is really nice its soft, nice ykk zipper which could have had a bigger tag and the pockets are a lil short but the rest of the hoodie is so soft, has a springy material around the cuffs and waist to keep the wind out.

I'm typically a large medium, 6"3 13.4 odd stone and a large fits perfectly

I have bought a few of these over time and they have been good garments but this one has gone down in quality . The material is flimsy and very fluffy /bobbly . The drawstring within the hood has gone down to a thin flimsy bootlace from what was a good thick item . There is no way this top is a mid weight . Pretty disappointed to be honest and so ends my association with Charles Wilson from now on . Worth avoiding as the old quality has gone and replaced with cheap junk as is the way of world these days..

Being quite a large guy, the big heavy weight hoodie brands like superdry fall a bit outside my size bracket. However Charles Wilson match the quality of much more expensive brands at a much better price and size range. The material is of a heavy weight quality with strong construction. The colour doesn't seem to fade like some cheaper brands either which is a big bonus. I am now the proud owner of 4 of these hoodies as my Mrs and daughter have a tendency of pinching them.

Very tight fit, poor quality zipper

The material has no give it in so that if you want to roll up the sleeves you are unable to.
Bought an extra large which has enough space around the chest but around the midriff it is so tight the zip barely closes.
The quality of the zipper is poor and feels like a strong pull and it'll break.
