Fits an M1 Air quite well!

This snaps on easily to a 2020 M1 MacBook Air. Was also impressed to find in the pack two TPU keyboard overlays which seem to also fit perfectly. I'm now not so worried about spilling lager over my new MacBook's keyboard.

It must be said that while this case fits perfectly on a brand new M1 Air; it still features cut-outs at the bottom for fans/ventilation. The M1 Airs don't have any fans or vents, so it looks a little stupid. I haven't scored down on this though, since no-one is going to notice as my MacBook will spend most of its time on a table.

The screen protector supplied seems fine, but I'm unlikely to install it since my Air (and everyone else's) doesn't have a touchscreen, so it's kind of pointless really. But when/if I do decide to put the screen protector on, I'll update the review accordingly. As it's such a simple screen protector, I doubt that when I install it, it would affect the rating I have already given anyway.

To recap; for this price it's absolutely fine. I'd rather have this than a similar £80 snap-on case offered by Apple themselves.

I hate liars so let give an honest and fair review.

The good thing about the product is that it does it’s job to protect the MacBook. The durability of this product is that it is very durable and is a lovely clear design so I can see directly through and admire the beautiful metallic rose gold design. Extremely sturdy and has the best sturdiness out of any case I have seen. The added bag for the charger is so convenient.

The bad thing about the product is that it scrapes the MacBook as you open and close it as the two parts of the case are slightly a bit over the edge (excess plastic on the end of it) of the MacBook even though it fits perfectly. The case cracks very easy when removing the case after placing it. It’s extremely difficult to add the top of the MacBook as it clicked so hard I thought I cracked the screen or frame. The corners are cracked after the second time I tried to gently remove the case. Another bad thing about the bundle is that the keyboard cover is easy to remove and slides around, it is held by some sticker lining across the (almost middle) keyboard.

In conclusion, it’s a great product for short term care and usage (such as 8-12 months). But if your looking for long term (couple of years), invest into a more expensive product.

Bought for the plastic shell to protect my 2 day old MacBook Air 2020 A2337, which already started to look a little beaten up, just from setting up. Will be just for using around the house, so should fit the bill - absolutely perfect and tight fit Bought in clear colour so Apple logo remains visible.

The keyboard cover was an extra, it just rests on the keyboard and easily moves around, can’t imagine it will be used.

Likewise the screen protector, tried to apply, thought the tough plastic in the middle was what went on the screen, and discarded what I now know was the actual protector - C’est la vie!!

I think you get plenty for your money (especially if you know how to apply a screen protector) so gets my recommendation. And buying in clear transparent means you see the original Apple colour of your MacBook.

DO NOT BUY GUYS, I have bought a brand new MacBook and wanted to keep it safe however buying this case was the biggest mistake I could have made
1) it scratched my Mac from the sides
2) it Broke when I was taking it off to clean dust
3) it gets really dirty and easily scratched
4) not clear anymore it is full of scratched on the front and back
I advise yous to get a high quality case and not this as it will damage your Mac and im sure you guys wouldn't like it. so be wise and save your money and time.

Doesn't Protect Your Laptop

Bought this as I'm hopelessly clumsy. Had it less than 3 months. The shell started cracking from little more than being carried around in a backpack after 2 months. The screen protector made the screen annoyingly dark. I also accidentally dropped my laptop (on laminate flooring from about 1.2m) and £440 in repairs later, I've learned the hard way that I should've gone with better protection. It'll probably protect your laptop from surface scratches, but I reckon there's lighter/better options out there if you just want protection from that.

Not the best quality as it is not so resistant and gets scratched very easily, so doesn’t look nice after even a few days, and the rubbers from the bottom that keeps it from slipping have all fallen off. It is also a bit hard to take off once it’s on the laptop, since it’s so tight, and makes me scared of taking it off and scratching the actual laptop.
I mean… at least my laptop is protected from scratching and never did scratch but that’s about it. I’d invest in something with a better quality for a first time purchase tho, which is why I’ll buy a new one soon and don’t recommend this, save your money.

This fits my MacBook really well (13" wide, 13.3" diagonal). Very nice shell. The only thing is that it wasn't made for this model, as the shell has a bunch of vent holes on the bottom, but the MacBook doesn't. This doesn't change anything though so it isn't a problem. Really nice and sleek shell. Makes the MacBook look pretty and there is no movement restriction. Colour is crystal clear. Snaps on very easily and it is nice and secure.

Description is what it is. This fits perfectly around the new Mac Air13. Its on firmly but not overly so that its relatively easy to take it off. Its clear, smooth and I find the cover for the keyboard is really well made because even with the cover, the keyboard is still perfectly sensitive to the touch. Just enough cover to protect your laptop from being scuffed up when you toss it into a bag. Also, the company followed up with an email to remind me of my one year warranty with this product. Nice touch.

The pack includes additional items which I wasn't expecting, such as a keyboard cover and screen cover. This was a nice surprise. Do need to be careful though when clipping it on to the laptop. It is a bit flimsy and in my first lot I managed to bust the corner off the lid. Did get my money back from Amazon but was suitably impressed to reorder which I did and my laptop is now fully protected.
