Fits an M1 Air quite well!

This snaps on easily to a 2020 M1 MacBook Air. Was also impressed to find in the pack two TPU keyboard overlays which seem to also fit perfectly. I'm now not so worried about spilling lager over my new MacBook's keyboard.

It must be said that while this case fits perfectly on a brand new M1 Air; it still features cut-outs at the bottom for fans/ventilation. The M1 Airs don't have any fans or vents, so it looks a little stupid. I haven't scored down on this though, since no-one is going to notice as my MacBook will spend most of its time on a table.

The screen protector supplied seems fine, but I'm unlikely to install it since my Air (and everyone else's) doesn't have a touchscreen, so it's kind of pointless really. But when/if I do decide to put the screen protector on, I'll update the review accordingly. As it's such a simple screen protector, I doubt that when I install it, it would affect the rating I have already given anyway.

To recap; for this price it's absolutely fine. I'd rather have this than a similar £80 snap-on case offered by Apple themselves.

Extremely poor quality,not worth even 1 star

I bought this mac book cover in January 2021.It arrived in time,fitted my Mac book very well and looked amazing.I was really pleased with my purchase until few weeks later when a small piece was noted fallen off one of the the corners(as shown in photo 3). I can guarantee it has not been maltreated as I look after my belongings very well especially electronic devices/chargers etc.I just thought its Ok its just a small piece and continued to use my laptop as normal.About a month ago I noticed another piece fell off all of a sudden from another corner( as shown in photos 1 & 2).
This made me really furious & disappointed that I bought it after so much research & with such a confidence but I was completely wrong.Its made up of an absolutely poor quality material which was only meant to work for few weeks-few months.Its isn't worth even 1 pence!!
I am very upset for the fact that while the world has been almost blown up by the pandemic and with prolonged lock down people are relying on amazon/online shopping so much the sellers should be a little bit more honest and considerate and not to not play with the mental states and money of the buyers at least in these challenging times.
I am unable to contact the seller as there was no such option when I opened my orders to contact them I request the seller that when they read this review they should contact me and either refund or replace this item for me.

Ok but Apple logo not visible

Case seems strong, took a few attempts to put it on but it seems to be quite a secure for.

The silicone keyboard cover is thin but I’m not sure how it’s supposed to fit. I find it sits still but can be moved if necessary.

The screen protector is awful. Perfect size but very flimsy and removed seconds after applying it.

The case itself doesn’t allow you to see the Apple logo underneath which is what I wanted/expected from the cover photo.

It’s ok considering it was cheap but not as expected.

UPDATE: the top case that was very to fit has since cracked.

Good hard shell, let down by keyboard and screen protectors

Cover was easy enough to install, even though it is not quite the teal tone I expected but a bit more greenish but gets the job done, I hope. Keyboard cover's lettering doesn't quite match the keyboard, in same cases like the letter 3 by a huge difference, meaning it cuts too much of the backlight so I'll have to not use it if I need the backlight. Screen protector ended up in the trash after failing to install it properly as it was just a major pain and ended up not liking the end result.

In short, had they not included these two items, I'd have given it a 4 * rating but as it is, 3 is more adequate.

i do find though it doesnt fit snug like other cases i have had

i can also now only use one usb port as one is hidden by the bottom case

colour and style i woud rate it a 5/5

easy to install so 5/5

not had it long enough to say wether it is long lasting

practicality 2/5

like me i tend to use both of the ports so i am now unable to charge and plus my hard drive in at the same time

prime delivery so it was fast and good as usual

7 weeks of total care and find it’s split. It gone from armchair to padded bag. This is not a sustainable solution as stated in multiple reviews. Not fit for purpose. Obviously just out of return window. I rarely write reviews but felt the need to confirm this cover is not fit for purpose.

The item came with black paint smudges on it. As seen in pictures. I tried fitting it on. The top panel fit perfectly snug and sat well on the MacBooks edges holding it tight with no loose gaps as some other cases have.

However, the bottom panel did not fit the laptop at all. Tried multiple times but one of the four corners just wouldn’t fit.

Returned for smudges and poor fit.

At this price you’d expect better.

I've had this laptop cover for nearly 9 months. Although I feel that it does indeed protect the surface of the laptop it is would not withstand a serious fall. On top of that the bottom section and the top section get a bit stuck with each other on the rear when I lift the screen. All in all it might be better in my opinion to spend a little more but have a better quality product. Good luck!

I ordered this in pink and it's a lot less transparent than i was expecting. I was hoping you could see the apple logo as pictured but unfortunately you cannot. The key board covers also both had some minor damage to the design on some keys. No problem so bad that it's not worth the protection but mildly annoying nonetheless.

The keyboard cover does not match the keyboard, particularly the 'Return' panel. It goes vertically although it should be extending horizontally. This is very disappointing as the design matches the design of the case itself. I have had to remove the keyboard cover as a result. The case otherwise is lovely and matches my MacBook Air 2020 just fine. I would return it but I need to use the case urgently.

We purchased the pink set. Just buy the plastic case on is own. It is a snug fit and will protect against scratches etc. Our screen protector was bent in one corner, I never got a reply from the seller and the keyboard cover is not very good, it does not line up across the keys. The plastic cover is not as transparent as the images suggest, this was a big deal for my daughter, not such a problem for an out of touch dad like me!

After couple months of using the case it had chipped from the corner and had scratched the side of my Macbook. I was very careful with my laptop and it had not been dropped so for the case to chip off and cause my macbook to be scratched shows that the case is very thin and provides not much protection at all to the macbook.
I wouldn't recommend buying a case from here because it wont provide much protection to your macbook and will damage your Macbook in the process so investing a bit more money for an expensive case would save you from an undamaged macbook :).
