Das Material und die Maße an sich sind ok, Bund oben geht nicht zu hoch, leicht angedeutetes Bein, ABER was auch immer der Hersteller sich beim Beinbundabschluss gedacht hat, er hat‘s vergeigt. Im Gegensatz zum normal dehnbaren Stoff der üblich ist für so eine Badehose ist der Beinabschluss straff und kaum dehnbar. Der Beinbund schneidet ein und die Hose sieht so einfach schlecht aus. Eine Nummer größer braucht ihr allerdings auch nicht zu bestellen, die wäre zu schlabberig und Beinabschluss weiter zu straff.

Any clothing item that I wear is always an extra large, which is always slightly too large, but a large is slightly too small. So I ordered this item in an extra large expecting it to fit, and it is so small I cannot even get it on. So if you order this item, it is not going to work unless you order it in a size larger than you normally wear. I'm returning mine.

GET IT / DO NOT GET IT? These Amazon Essentials Men's Swim Brief get a 100% DO NOT GET IT from me!

I have a lot of Amazon essentials fitness clothes, and I have always been super impressed with the fabric choices, style, quality of stitching and the colorfast properties.

I have lost some weight recently so now that we are edging into the summer months I reached for my trunks from last summer and they are about 3 inches too big as I am now a 29” waist.

While there wasn’t yet a full product page for the item, when I saw the thumbnail for these, I figured they would be a nice replacement so I got a pair.

I won’t list PROS and CONS - instead, I will categorise my opinions into ACCEPTABLE / NOT ACCEPTABLE

ACCEPTABLE
The sizing is good for a small
They look fine on the model in the thumbnail image, however because of how they are constructed, there is always creases in the fabric, and they have to constantly be re-adjusted to avoid them looking like a disaster.
The material appears to be good quality and won’t deteriorate any time soon, and likely won’t tear easily.
The stitching is good quality, and there is no discomfort even though these are form fitting.
I can’t tell about the color fast properties since I just got them.
The string tie at the waist is great and doesn’t cause any discomfort unless you pull it too tight before tying.

NOT ACCEPTABLE
The material itself feels fine, but in the seam at the end of each leg, the elastic is too tight for the amount of fabric which causes bunching.

In addition to the weird things the fabric gets up to in regards to bunching, the ends of the leg around the elastic rollup when you sit down. By the end of an hour or so you look like a ladies volleyball player who has borrowed someone else’s shorts 1 size down.

Inside the shorts there is an Inner layer that runs from top to bottom around the middle of the front of your thigh. While I appreciate this privacy panel, it would have been much better to have this go all the way to the seam on the hip, because now it looks like I’m wearing something weird under the shorts.

SUMMARY
I literally could not be any less impressed with these. The fit is weird, the odd privacy panel looks awkward, and the cut looks like it came from a pattern that was never tested on a human - the whole thing is just weird. Again, I have to stress, this is only this product, I have lots of Amazon essentials clothing, most of which I gave 5 starts to, but this is not a home run for me, and I don’t think I will ever wear these in public.

Don’t just take my word on this product, see what others are saying before you decide either way. Maybe I got a pair that should have never been shipped out.
