Your shorts are beautifully tailored.
Excellent package. They are class.
Value for money. The downside they will have to be left into the tailore shop for zips on the pockets for security also they would be fantastic wearing in stright leg.
I am in no way connected with any product that I review.

I should have read more carefully. Board shorts do not have a mesh lining, so these are swim trunks in board short style. Also, 31" waist fits me very well across brands for the last 20 years but these trunks are slipping off. Will be returning but if you can get the right size (aim 1 size small) and like the mesh (I don't) they seem like reasonably made, good looking trunks.

Purchased it for my husband and it's a little too big. He lacks a butt or hips to keep it up and I should of went down a size instead of buying by his pants size. Other than that they are nice swim bottoms. Soft material.

I feel betrayed by these reviews. They are too small but not overall....just in one significant area. Why has no one else mentioned that at the bottom of the “fly” there’s a hole? Only one thing could protrude out of said hole, the size of which upon seeing scantily clad beach goers, could prove painful. The fabric & fit are great and then there’s this. You fall right in. (Or out?) why? Why put such an ill placed hole there? And perhaps more importantly, WHY DIDN’T ANY OF YOU MENTION IT? I’m disappointed in all of you. Who gets these in the mail and puts forth the effort to write a review and fails to mention this?

Marketed as Board Shorts...but...

These are marketed as board shorts, which if you wear them, you know there is no waist band and no liner. These do have a liner which is just uncomfortable when you are used to wearing actual board shorts. Plus, the tie string on waist is just too overstated, it should be black or conservative. There is also a pocket in the back, which essentially transitions these from board shorts, to Dad shorts. I'm very much an older Dad, so technically, I should be wearing these shorts to play the part, but it's reason I wear solid board shorts, so I don't look like I'm trying to be a surfer, yet, it doesn't look like I'm a candidate for senior swim only. These shorts, with liner, pocket and loud tie string, definitely get you in that senior swim time, if you are going for that event. Might return them, or maybe rip out the liner? Not sure, but can't say I like them.

Runs big at the waist and velcro fly problematic

Purchased these shorts with the invention of using them as an everyday pair of shorts. Overall quality wise they are fine. They do run a tad large at the waist but its no too much of an issue. my main issue with these shorts is the velcro fly. I recently decided to wear these out for the day to run some errands in with my 9 year old son. While we were out doing errands I had to use the restroom. I hadn't realized that I didn't evenly attach the velcro fly material, So as I was walking around the store with my son, I could feel the velcro pulling on my boxers. What I didn't realize until my son pointed out to me was that with the velcro fly not evenly attached it makes it all lumpy looking and when I went to sit down without me even realizing it the bottom part of the velcro started detaching. My son would end up telling me later on that my blue and white boxers were showing through the opening of the velcro fly. I would eventually get the velcro back to being evenly attached but not before exposing my boxers to the people around us.
I will keep the shorts, I just know I have to be careful with the velcro fly.
