I have a few pairs and as always carhartt lives up to the test. I’m in heavy hands on construction and only use carhartt clothing for its durability and ability to stand the test of time. I have size 40 jeans and use size 46 in overalls mostly for around my big belly.

Fits exactly as described. Excellent quality- thick and strong.
I stupidly tried some Helly's last year: Plastic suspender clamps that slipped so much I had to tape them. Thin material that wore out quickly where my tool belt sits. More expensive. They make some great products but not good coveralls for a Tradesman. Lesson learned.

I wear a 38x30 pants typically, which are still long on me as i’m very short (5’6”) so I purchased a 40x28. they fit very well, length is great, waist is great, BUT next time I would still go up one more waist size especially if you’re wearing a sweater underneath. They’re very comfortable and are definitely worth the money

The buckles are a little frustrating to undo, but a little work with a file makes them alot easier. Great value for the money! I will definitely purchase again!
