These fashion ankle boots are surprisingly warm and well fitting. They look good with jeans or chinos and can be dressed up or down. I have often looked at this style in the shops but never got as far as trying them on, but I am really impressed with these and could happily wear them all day, because they are so comfortable. For me it is important that s show has a good grip and these heavy gauge rubber soles are really the bees knees in holding onto the pavement! The grip isn't the only good thing, because the suede that these are made of is also very good quality. With grey upper and white sole these are easy to match with any outfit and are just a little bit nearer casual than smart so I feel really comfortable being seen in them. A really good choice for comfort and for style too!

I was pleasantly surprised by these boots, which look really smart with denim trousers or chinos.

They are comfortable and when walking there is good grip and just the right amount of spring/bounce in the heel.

The material that they're made of is very nice, having a 'quality' feel.

They're in the 'smartness' range that lies between formal and casual like trainers.

Really comfy, quality shoes, with a nice fit. Walking in them feels nice and they don't squeeze your foot. My only worry is when it rains, as it may damage the shoes. I recommend buying a spray protector to stop water damaging them. Great shoes though.

Gut verarbeiteter, leichter Schuh für Frühjahr bis Herbst

Die Farbe des find. "Chukka Boots" ist kein kaltes Grau, sondern ein bräunliches Grau. Für Frauen ganz klar ein "Taupe" ;-)

Die Gr. 43 fällt größengerecht aus. Das Design gefällt, das Veloursleder oben ist weich und geschmeidig, die helle Sohle profiliert, innen ist Glattlederausstattung. Es gibt keinerlei Druckstellen, auch nicht hinten an der Ferse! Die Schuhe haben zwar kein anatomisch geformtes Fußbett, sind aber etwas gepolstert, was ausreichend ist für seinen Einsatzzweck in Freizeit und Büro. Für längere Wanderungen bräuchte es da doch einen anderen Schuh - es gibt ja nicht umsonst spezielles Schuhwerk dafür ;-)

Form, Farbe, Tragekomfort und tadellose Verarbeitung - dafür haben die Boots bzw. Halbschuhe 5 Sterne verdient!

Besser als erwartet :)

Bei der Teurolage von knappe 50 (Größe 43) habe ich -nennen wir es einmal- recht einfache Schuhe erwartet. Von den Schuhen wurde ich dann angenehm überrascht.

Die Verarbeitungsqualität ist hoch. Zwar ist Sohle mit Oberschuh verklebt, das dafür sehr sauber und absolut fest.

Sohle:

Die Sohlen aus Gummi sind stabil und Rollen gut ab. Ein zu leichtes Biegen (geschweige Knicken) ist nicht möglich. An der Ferse weisen sie eine Dicke von 21,5 mm auf. Sie laufen nach vorne dünner aus und haben dort noch 8,25 mm.

Fußbett:

Ein ausgeformtes Fußbett ist nicht vorhanden. Es sind gepolsterte eingenähte Einlagen aus Leder eingesetzt. Sie bieten ein angenehmes Gehen und ein keiner Stelle ist es unangenehm oder drückt.

Obermaterial:

Das äußere Obermaterial ist aus Leder im Wildleder-Look. Das Leder hat eine Dicke von 2mm. Im Inneren ist es mit einer Lage Synthetik verstärkt. Diese weist eine Dicke von 0,8 mm auf. Das gesamte Obermaterial ist sehr weich und daher bequem beim Tragen der Schuhe. Im vorderen Bereich der Zehen ist das Obermaterial verstärkt und damit etwas fester/stabiler ausgeführt.

Trotz der weichen Ausführung bieten die Schuhe ausreichend festen Halt für die Füße. Befürchtetes schwammiges Gehen blieb aus.

Ösen:

Die Ösen für die Schnürsenkel sind außen ohne Umrandung. Im Inneren sind zur Stabilisierung Metallösen angebracht. Das Loch für die Schnürsenkel beträgt im Maximum 3,8 mm. Es sind dadurch noch deutlich dickere Schnürsenkel als die beigefügten -mit 2mm recht dünnen- Schnürsenkel möglich.

Insgesamt empfinde ich die Schuhe sehr bequem und gebe hier gerne eine volle Empfehlung ab.
