Nice coats, their size guide measurements are off

Nice coats. The size guide measurements are completely wrong though. If you’re ordering from the UK and you are a size 36-39 chest medium will fit you. As a general rule XS, S, M, L and XL are the same as here in the UK, so order what you normally would with a coat. For some reason the measurements in their size guide for chest size are way off and make you think you need to order a much smaller size. Bottom line: nice coats, order what size you normally would.

I am offended by this coat

It may say 80% wool on the listing and label - but it absolutely isn't.

First off, it looks cheap and scruffy. It is creased to a level that you WILL need to send it to a dry cleaners to sort out. I've just come back from the dry cleaners - this will cost around £25 to sort - the dry cleaner confirms that there is very little (if any) wool content. The coat itself has the texture (and thickness) of a picnic blanket and smells synthetic.

And for some other minor niggles, there's only 3 buttons on the cuff, and the inner pocket is just a slit.

Appalling.

I'm usually really weary when buying this type of coat or jacket as they always tend to be too tight in one place or another and never sit nicely or comfortably. If it fits on your shoulders it doesn't usually fit around your waist and so on.

This one however was really nice straight away, for once i didn't need to consider losing weight before wearing it out. It's definitely not the type of coat i would wear out in a thunderstorm, but if you find yourself walking to a business meeting in the snow then this would definitely be your go to coat. It hangs really nicely and none of the stitching seems lose at all. An all round quality make that I'm sure will last a good few years to come

After ordering this I read the reviews and got worried, I didn’t need to. Yes the coat came creased but it’s been packaged, stored, posted etc what do people expect. They took a while to drop out but again what do people expect. After hanging for 2 weeks I have a stunning coat and love it. Great value for this kind of coat.

Love this coat, been looking to get a nice formal coat. Was quite hesitant to get this as I’ve never heard of the brand though I took a chance and I can say I’m very pleased.

I’m currently a size 38 chest but I wasn’t so sure about getting a XS size so I stuck with a M size as I normally do when buying and have to say it fits me perfectly and snug, even with a shirt and waistcoat. I would definitely recommend this jacket if your looking for something smart for the price.

Almost everything I've ever purchased on Amazon has been unnecessarily overpackaged, tiny items in massive boxes, etc. This coat came in a plastic bag within a paper bag and is completely covered in creases, making it look a few years old. If buying, factor in the cost of having it steamed or dry cleaned. I mentioned to seller and they confirmed I should get it steamed....I know that, just shouldn't really have to after buying a new coat. Considering return.
