5.0 out of 5 starsMagnum PI. One of the best shows of its kind. I'm really enjoying rewatching it.

Two large DVD cases - in a nicely illustrated, but thin and tight fitting card slipcase.
The DVD cases are good quality. The eight series are spread over the 'book' style platters in the large cases. The DVDs are physically well made, clearly marked and nicely illustrated. There is one DVD per platter side and the DVDs are easy to access, insert and remove.
The quality is as good as I've come to expect from DVD versions of TV series of this age. I'm not an expert in these matters by any means - I watch either on a laptop PC or a budget 42" TV with DVD player - but, to me, the audio and video are fine (and far better than the usual standard definition TV broadcasts).
Back in the day, I had watched Magnum irregularly when it originally aired on TV, and liked it. More recently I'd noticed Magnum intermittently on TV bit the shows were riddled with advert breaks and of poor broadcast quality. Unfortunately, the Magnum DVDs were very expensive (£100+), so I waited until they dropped under £50 before buying them.
Watching thes DVDs, I had forgotten how many Magnum episodes there were. Eight series! But Its even better than I remember it, so the more the merrier.
