Superdry quality with one downside

Great fit, design, good typical superdry quality materials used. It's comfortable and warm, almost like being hugged by a pillow. I'm 5 ft 6 in and bought the small, seems to fit well if a little long (though honestly for a jacket for keeping warm isn't really a problem).

My only issue is that the jacket seems to be shedding fibres through the outer layer on the outside of the coat. At first I thought it was dog hairs, but i noticed its been getting worse. The little white fibres seem to seep out of the arms and shoulders even though the jacket isn't worn much and just otherwise hung up in a wardrobe. I'm hoping its just a few bits that will stop, however it doesn't seem to even after two weeks. It also doesn't seem to affect any of the inside of the jacket, and it isn't coming from the seams or stitching.

The inside pocket can't be buttoned up to secure an average size phone. Therefore, security of a valuable possession isn't reliable, and a deal breaker for me. A ridiculous design flaw that I'm amazed at.

Brought this jacket as my last Superdry jacket was pass it. I must say it’s is really warm inside. I recently took it to Poland in winter (-3/5) and did not even need my gloves. Just kept my hands inside the pockets and did not feel any cold.

Have not fully tested the waterproof material but as with many other superdry jackets I’m sure it will stand.

I am a fan of Superdry brand but the keep confusing me, never I had trouble with buying cloth online with Superdry exception
Their size is the most confusing way of choosing my right size , I think I bought the right size to discover later my size wishing the chosen jacket but at the end of the scale, of course it’s going to be too tight uncomfortable
I wish the make it simple and easy
Otherwise I will buy the products and I think it on the heavy side but excellent for winter
And the new regulations are pain you pay for the postage upfront ( out of money buying and returning) the re claim I postage refund for prime only member
I do not know why Amazon dose not honour non UK residents Amazon platinum card account???

Was worried about the whole sizing thing with Superdry clothing, but bit the bullet & ordered off the size chart....
Arrived next day, very pleased with the jacket, fits fine & is also very warm. The pockets are also large & zipped.
Not checked on the waterproofness of the fabric, but hopefully will live up to expectations.
Only downer is the inside pocket could be larger, & secured with a zip, rather than a press stud.
Overall pleased with my purchase!

I bought it for an Xmas gift, I made my partner try it on to make sure it fitted as it did say order a size up from your normal size to get the best fit with super dry. He’s always been a medium in joggers and hoodies but the coat is slightly small but ok with just a T-shirt under . Definitely could not wear a hoodie under it . Nice coat all over
