Top critical review
I wasn't impressed but I was disappointed.

In today’s world it’s a fact that many things can now be made cheaply. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Having purchased a couple of cheap trainers online before and been adequately surprised by the general ‘ok-ness’ of them, I thought these looked like I’d get a repeat of that scenario. As an ‘Amazon choice’ I had some high hopes. Honestly though, it was like someone had grabbed some left over material from a net curtain factory, stabbed some lace holes in and stitched it onto a black painted piece of polystyrene packing. I’ve nothing against the idea of cheap trainers, but one of my requirements is that I can walk with dignity and poise, unhindered by discomfort and fear of toe squash. And no, it wasn’t that I got the wrong size, they just seemed very tightly attached to the sole with not enough thought about how the foot was going to fit under the material. Also, the sole was so sloped I felt that after a few steps I would be sliding into the toe area and hence receiving a toe squash. Shame, as they look super cool in the pictures, but it’s always a gamble with footwear online. I had to return them. We just didn’t bond in the initial trying-on session.
