Smaller than advertised

After reading reviews, I bought one size up.
Still too small across the chest.
It's not designed to be buttoned up, but XXL still didn't cover my 44" chest.
Looks great, everyone likes the look, just much smaller than the size chart.

Ordered the stripe and came as a checked pattern. There is no checked pattern visual for this type of jacket so I am assuming that the stripe jacket is a checked jacket. Very misleading. Returned straight away.

I bought 2 brand new jackets because I didn’t know which style I would liked better. I bought the checkerboard one and the red, black, white, and gold stripped one. They were shipped separately, the stripped one came via UPS. The stripped jacket was a return and it was used! There was no manufacturer’s tag on it and once I put it on, I felt a bump on the left chest side. There was a used tube of lipstick in it! The jackets did fit a little tight, but the length of the sleeves were good. Yes I know this is a man’s jacket, but I tried my husband’s jacket on and this size fits. This jacket was also tight on him. The problem is, if I went to a large it could have been too big and the sleeves could have gone over my wrists. I was also disappointed that there is no closure to the front and the only pocket is the inside left chest. I guess you get what you pay for, this is cheaper because it is very simple. I am keeping the checkerboard jacket, the tightness is not a massive problem, because I bought it to wear to a concert and maybe a party or 2, not an everyday jacket.
