Possibly the best survival item you'll ever buy for under £2

It's a glorious Sunday afternoon, time to take the dogs out for a walk in the woods.
You're on a unfamiliar trail and all of a sudden "Spot" the family dog has seen a squirrel and is off into the trees like Usain Bolt up a drain pipe.
You quickly follow your family pet, shouting for Spot to return and before you know it you're lost in an unfamiliar wood. You've no compass, trail marking tape or a map.
98% of people lost in the woods get found in the first 24 hours. But you've made a few critical errors and you're now completely lost. Not only are you lost but you tripped and fell twisting a wrist when you landed face down in the mud, which totally sucks.
It's time to get out the bright orange Fruit of the Loom T shirt you bought for £2 because it's about to save your life. You need to buy the biggest one you can, 3XL is best. First off it provides an extra layer of clothing, but most importantly it can be made into a flag. Second, it's so big you can cut off huge chunks of material and make it into char cloth because it's 100% cotton. Third you can make it into a bandanna, Forth you can make it into a sling for that wrist you hurt when you fell. Fifth because you bought extra large it can be made into a sun shade, which of course can be seen from the air because it's bright orange. You can use it to pre-filter water from a stream and you can use it as a carry device for wood or your gear.
The list of things this T shirt can do in a survival situation could fill a book on it's own.
If you're into survival you 'need' at least one of these in your bag and your car, just make sure it's orange people.
You know I'm right!
